Fresh out of jail for recording video in a public court lobby, Dave grabs his camera and broadcasts a live interview with a new mover to Keene, Meg!
Keene, 07/12/09 – With the arrest and imprisoning of freedom to travel activist Kurt Hoffman on the same day video-journalist Dave Ridley was released from Cheshire jail, the agents of the violent monopoly called the “State of New Hampshire” have spent nearly $6,000 stolen dollars on jailing peaceful activists. As it costs over $30,000 per year to imprison someone in NH, that’s at least $82 per day. Combining the jail terms for Sam Dodson, Andrew Carroll, and Dave Ridley brings us to 73 days this year-to-date. Each day Kurt is in will be another on the counter, and another $82.
Of course, at any given time the Cheshire jail contains a varying number of people who, while not activists, are also peaceful political prisoners of the insane War on Drugs as well as the traffic revenue and obedience system. (more…)
At around 5:20pm Dave Ridley was relased from Cheshire County Correctional Facility to a crowd of liberty activists in the midst of a cook out. The activists numbered around 40.
Watch as the Keene city attorney refuses to answer questions about their ban on cameras from the clerk’s office once he finds out he’s being broadcast. Remember, government people have no obligation to answer questions or do anything at all. They’ll just steal your money until you decide to stop paying. Then, they’ll steal your home. This is what happens when you try to get answers on the record:
Here Dave Ridley broadcasts live after the trial where Edward Burke refused Dave’s offer of community service and sentenced him to six days of imprisonment for daring to record video in the public lobby of the Keene district court. (They call it “contempt of court”) Keep watching FreeKeene.com for the trial footage, coming soon.
