Now Open in Keene @ Hannaford Plaza

Regional physical media chain Bull Moose recently opened its doors in the old Video Headquarters location in the Hannaford plaza on West Street in Keene. They carry a wide variety of media including video games, cds, vinyl, DVD, Bluray, and even books! It’s refreshing to see someone trying to keep physical media distribution alive – hopefully it works out for them. Kudos also to Bull Moose for carrying Keene-produced-and-edited documentary Derrick J’s Victimless Crime Spree on DVD!

Statehouse Rumor Stalls Expanded Narcan Access

The Opioid Task Force in charge of expediting Representative Amanda Bouldin’s new bill seems to have failed at educating New Hampshire statehouse bureaucrats about the lifesaving substance, Narcan.  Because of their ignorance, more lives will be lost to overdose while the paper pushers continue their medicine prohibition.

Bouldin’s first Narcan bill was a success, but the new bill will hasten the end of the Drug War.

AP Story on Snowden’s 2016 Keynote at Liberty Forum Getting Major Pickups

Edward Snowden

Edward Snowden to Keynote Liberty Forum 2016

A couple weeks ago, the Free State Project broke the news that Edward Snowden would be keynoting the 2016 Liberty Forum, which happens Feb 18-21 in Manchester at the Radisson Hotel.

Now, mainstream media is picking up the news via an AP story (apparently sourced from NH’s Valley News) that is popping up in places like the Washington Post, FOX News, and dozens more outlets nationwide.

With two months to go and other speakers to be announced, the 2016 Liberty Forum is looking like it will be an amazing event.

2016 is also the year that the FSP will reach its goal of 20,000 people pledged to move to New Hampshire to work toward more liberty. The only question is when. Just this weekend, the Free State Project crossed 90% of its goal. In order to push to the goal faster, they’ve launched a fundraising campaign to buy facebook ads. Here’s the pitch video produced by Free Keene blogger JJ Schlessinger:

Video of the Ladies Panel @ Keenevention 2015

Anarchics host Renee Kate presented this year’s Ladies Panel at Keenevention, that turned out to be the final episode of Seditious Sirens, where she and her selected ladies from the Shire discussed their activism and took audience questions. Panelists included Katie McCall of Stone Manor, Ellen Ball of the Anarchics, and Ann Leverette from Flaming Freedom.

Big thanks to our 2015 video sponsor – Roberts & Roberts Brokerage – when you’re serious about precious metals – they take bitcoin!

Stay tuned to the Keenevention blog for more videos weekly and other media from the event. You can also follow the new Keenevention Twitter and Keenevention’s facebook page.

Does this happen in your state? Jury Nullification IN COURT!

While other states are arresting jury nullification activists, New Hampshire allows flyering jurors, AND allows nullification to be explicitly named, described, and advocated for in court, as attorney Paul Garrity proves in the last part of his closing argument in the trial of James Cleaveland for recording video of state police:

If you love liberty and want to work towards making more of it happen, why not do it in the best place for it? New Hampshire is already more free than other places and there are thousands of libertarians and voluntarists, many of whom love jury nullification, that are moving there as part of the Free State Project. Why not join us and help more liberty happen, sooner?
