The first-ever Keenevention kicks off next Friday November 1st at 9am! Thus far, nearly 90 liberty-loving people are registered to attend the event! That includes dozens of speakers, panelists, and others buying tickets and visiting from all over the country. Keenevention promises to be an experimental, intimate convention. It’s the convention by activists, for activists and those who would like to be activists. Keenevention is unusual because all of our speakers are based in the Shire. These are the people who are here creating the most exciting and attractive liberty movement in the world. They may not all be “names” in the liberty movement, but they should be. These are doers.
Keenevention’s dozen panels cover the full activism spectrum! From legislators to civil disobedients to media producers to tech-geeks, Keenevention will address it all. Our keynote speakers include the President of the Free State Project, Carla Gericke speaking on the “State of the FSP”, JJ Schlessinger of “Free State Now“, and former Cheshire county jail guard Bryan Tann.
Of course, since it’s Keene, you might want to actually do some activism while you’re in town, so you’ll be able to hit the streets with Robin Hood, Keene Cop Block, visit and protest at the jail where Rich Paul is being held captive, as well as attend favorite Keene social events! As some of you are already aware local bully and tyrant, Fred Parsells, submitted a letter to the Keene Sentinel titled: Stealing from Keene taxpayers, early last week. In it he actually suggests that the residents of Keene should blame their high property tax on the Robin Hooders. I immediately submitted my own rebuttal but it was denied because it did not meet the Sentinel’s standards. It would seem that it is quite alright for Fred to call the Robin Hooders thieves but not for me to call him a busybody and a parasite. Here is my submission:
In response to Fred Parsell’s letter “Stealing from Keene taxpayers.”
Sorry Fred, you got it wrong. The Robin Hood of lore was not stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. He was in fact taking money back from an oppressive government that stole through forced taxation and giving it back to the rightful owners. The taxpayers. A lot of folks don’t seem to understand that part.
Something else people might not be clear about: This year the city estimates it will take in $634,406 from meter collections and fines, but will end up spending $602,000 on the parking enforcement operating costs for a whopping total gain of $32,406. Does anyone not see a problem here? The fines and collection barely pay for the enforcers and their uniforms. So why even have them? If the city managers believe it’s so important to get folks to visit downtown and spend their money, why risk scaring them away with nasty tickets?
The bottom line here: Fred, who has been living off the backs of the taxpayers his whole working career, can’t fathom the idea of a community operating with any efficiency without the heavy hand of a tax-payer funded city government making every decision for us. The answer is the free market. If Keene is to survive the coming days, it must evolve past this mentality that government is the only solution to all of its problems.
Fred, what do you actually do? Besides collecting $56,610 a year in pension and $x/year as a housing inspector. Every time I’ve seen you downtown you’re either helping the parking enforcers write tickets or washing chalk off the sidewalks with your little spray bottle. You’re nothing but a busybody and a meddler. If you really cared about the taxpayer, you’d quit your job and give back some of that pension.

Almost a week after the Pumpkin Festival, and still no one has any clue who these unidentified men are. Keene Police confirmed that the 9 individuals are law enforcers, but of what agency? Who hired them? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=er6YOZVIh9g
Airing on this week’s AKPF #1 timeslot is an unprecedented revamp of Dolus, a prior episode. The infamous CoK official DPRK video of the ‘doctored’ Robin Hooding is replaced with courtroom footage to put you in the action with cast and dedicated fans of the Aqua Keene Parking Force. Additionally, fans receive more content from amateur videographer Peter ‘Sturdy’ Thomas, who did not appear in the court proceedings. See for yourself why AKPF is #1 in the Robin Hood:
We covered quite a lot this week: City Candidates questionnaire, the Darryl vs Kendall debate, Pumpkin Fest, gender roles, masturbation brain fogs, police brutality and the Stanford Prison experiment. The Rapsher joins. Visit BlackSheepRising.org for show notes.
A local business owner is stopped and harassed and threatened by Keene police on 2013-10-18. Keene Cop Block‘s Ian Freeman is nearby and responds with his video camera. The man is happy for the scene to be recorded so Ian gets in the passenger side of the car!
In the video below, Garret Ean of Keene Peaceful Streets asks Jason Short a question about the mysterious sniper teams atop city rooftops during the Pumpkin Fest celebration earlier in the day. To avoid answering this simple question Officer Short does something both illegal and dangerous.
Despite Officer Short being covered in dark clothing (except for his face) he crossed the normally busy road as an alert Penske Box Van Driver spotted him and slowed the vehicle down. Garret hung back out of harms way to document the evasive enforcer violating the law he has sworn to uphold.
