From the Live Free Or Dance Trial: Kelly Voluntaryist took an opportunity to shame Michael Kopcha of the Keene Police Department when, during the viewing of video evidence in which the public servant pepper sprays a nonviolent handcuffed man, she storms out of the courtroom and calls him a monster.

As you may be aware, she recently made national news with her TSA protest-in-lingerie, and now she brings her writing talents to Free Keene. Here’s her bio from the Bloggers page:
Kelly Voluntaryist (“kellyvoluntaryist”) – Kelly moved to Keene from Scottsdale, AZ in December of 2011 after being repeatedly victimized by the corrupt and involuntary system there for the “crime” of living as a free individual. While her activism in Arizona consisted mainly of working as an advocate for victims of the system and writing about her experiences, she moved to Keene in hopes of inspiring the evolution towards a peaceful society through civil disobedience. Kelly, a longtime agorist, not only believes in smashing the state through civil disobedience and delegitimization, but counter-economically through black and grey markets and non-compliance as well. A Christian Anarchist, she considers herself a conscientious objector of the current system and strives to promote non-violent resistance as exemplified by Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr. She believes that the violation of one individual’s rights equals the violation of all individual rights, that for there to be true peace there must first be true justice, and that true justice must be based on a model of restoration. Her pet peeves are the TSA, the prison system, and government transparency. When she is not smashing the state, Kelly loves to go shopping and spend time with her cat Emily, her chihuahua Isabella, and her voluntary liberty family. Now I face 2.5 years behind bars unless I can convince a Jury to let me be free. As always, I am looking for constructive criticism from law-loving types. Police love to claim they just do what they are told by the legislature. But that’s not all they do. Many actively fight to keep the status quo and not only that increase the police state. Here in this Union Leader piece they come out to state house hearings to allow some felons to possess firearms and engage in fearmongering, including propagating the absurd idea that gun laws prevent criminals from getting and carrying weapons. Absurd.
As we’ve seen with the case of Brad Jardis, any cop that actually speaks out in favor of more freedom is targeted by “the brotherhood” of the “thin blue line” for retaliation, including firing. According to WMUR TV, a Keene man and his associate were busted trying to pick up a package full of hashish at a UPS facility. The deceitful police even posed as UPS workers to make the bust. (Yes, this is the same department that threatened Ademo at the airport on Friday.) UPS should be ashamed for assisting in this and the police also for being so slimy and aggressive. Now the police have 20 pounds of hashish to smoke and sell and the peaceful men who went to make the pickup are facing prison sentences:
Two men were arrested in Londonderry last week after attempting to smuggle drugs in a package sent via UPS, police said.
Investigators said the drugs were hidden in an inflatable boat.
Police said they were wearing the traditional UPS brown uniforms when they went in to make the arrests. (more…)
