A Visit to Occupy Boston
I recently had the opportunity to visit Occupy Boston on a relatively quiet day. A brief summary is posted at Free Concord, and video footage from the scene is featured below.

As you know if you’ve been reading here, the Shire Choir has been performing anti-drug-war carols written to the tunes of classic Christmas songs by wordsmith Richard Onley.
Most recently we have been performing at the state monopoly liquor stores. Those performances will continue, so stay tuned for more about them.
I wanted to share with you the song sheets we’ll be handing out at future performances. Feel free to print them out and form your own Shire Choir, wherever you are:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FREEHATER NEWS – 12/1/2011
At the beginning of November, I was challenged to a Dance-Off by Andre Rosa via his Fruit Fly Agent, Antigone. Realizing the honor of Keene’s Activists was at risk, and not one to back down from a challenge, I accepted the terms of the Dance-Off.

FreeKeene.com blogger Ademo Freeman was indicted. As posted to CopBlock.org:
We woke up today and learned thanks to a Union Leader article, that Ademo was indicted for three counts of felony wiretapping (each count threatens 5-7yrs in a cage). Since the article was posted online with only an excerpt, we scanned and posted it, and a related article for transparency.

It’s an honor to have Cop Block‘s Pete Eyre on board as a Free Keene blogger! Pete’s one of the founders of Cop Block along with Ademo V. Freeman, who also blogs here. Plus, both Pete and Ademo were part of Motorhome Diaries with Jason Talley, and now all three are blogging together again in one place for the first time! Here’s Pete’s bio from the bloggers page:
Pete Eyre (“PeteEyre”) – Pete Eyre self-describes as a voluntaryist and hails from the Midwest. He went to school for law enforcement but ultimately concluded that he could have a bigger impact through other avenues. After four plus years working in the libertarian think tank world in DC he hit the road with Motorhome Diaries and later Liberty On Tour. In addition to Free Keene, he’s now active with Cop Block.
Also welcome to Free Keene TV‘s Jason Repsher. Here’s his bio from the bloggers page:
Jason Repsher (“Rapsher”) – Rapsher moved to Keene NH for the Free State Project in March 2011 from Reno, NV. He believes the ideas of liberty were always apparent in him. Being a non-conformist, along with an inability to pay attention in school, he had little to unlearn. In 2008 Rapsher’s views expanded from libertarian into voluntarism. With his cynical sense of humor and an intense internal optimism, Rapsher is genuinely confident that liberty will happen in his lifetime. His personal philosophy is that altruism is synonymous with human incentive, which will evolve into a purer form when human interactions can exist on a voluntary basis. Rapsher partakes in activism, outreach, working on Free Keene TV, Robin Hooding, and more to come.
Robin Hood and her Merry Men have returned to Free Keene! You already know about Robin Hood if, while parked in downtown Keene, you returned to find a note from Robin or one of the Merry Men. The note kindly informed you that you had been rescued from one of the Crown’s parking tickets. You can see the full note on the Robin Hood page.
You can also visit from anywhere via RobinHood.FreeKeene.com or just look under the Shire tab in the top menu, on the right, here on the blog.
It’s good to have Robin and crew back in the community, especially as the Crown is preparing to test a new, even worse-than-ever parking meter scheme.
The First Annual Shire Dance-Off will be this December 16th, 2011. Follow the front page of Fr33Agents.com to stay in the loop! More videos will be posted as the event draws near.
