    Wow, the guy that was co-hosting sure was a dick. It’s funny how they say the inherent violence of government shouldn’t even be discussed.

    I think bringing up the CRA first and then explaining how the Fed’s easy money policy allowed it to be abused to create the bubble would have been a better argument against such an uneducated attack.

    Just talking about the Fed I don’t find goes over well. It’s a little too theoretical. The CRA though combined with easy money seems to work better.

    Ian,

    The male host was wrong and you didn’t correct him. It was hilarious that he had the housing situation exactly backwards though and its not a free market like you said. But the reason was because the government used force to make the make the banks lend money to people who could not afford it. That is what you should have said. The government had this idea that everyone should own a home, when in reality not everyone can afford to own their own home and many must rent.
