From the park to the police station, here is much better footage of Big Mike, the Keene-inspired activist who made a splash in Manchester this week as he toured around holding a piece of cannabis and asked Manchies how they felt about its illegality:

What kind of people are so afraid of the public that they have to hide behind bullet proof glass. Not your everyday friendly retailer…

Asking personally for Chief Mara… priceless!

Note: In my opinion, Mara is a scum-sucking doucebag.

It looks like Manchester is the new Keene.

Big Mike, you and this video are priceless!! Outstanding effort by you and your supporters accompanying you in this adventure.

Thanks everyone. Jraxis did a great job with the video and I truly appreciate everyone's support in comments and posts, especially those that showed up to support a stranger (it was my 2nd day in NH).

This isn't over by far and while I know it's unlikely, I'd like to get the police chief or another officer to walk around in uniform with me while I do it again.

    Thanks again BigMike!

    Dare I say it?

This video gives me hope that my fellow humans aren't totally lost to statist group-think.

Once people were really confronted with the questions, they know that the Drug War is failed and wrong-headed, they know that peaceful people shouldn't be imprisoned, and they know that they are being lied to by government(s).

Thank you Big Mike, not only for the simple activism, but for the great interviews with some common folks at a park and some state employees.

I love the impish, gutsy attitude this guy had. That is why I am so looking foward to moving to N.H.

That video should be archived in the FreeState annals…absolutely classic!!

Kudos for doing this Big Mike! I guess we can declare Manchester a defacto marijuana friendly city. Looking forward to seeing the follow-up.

One recommendation (that I know you utilized later ~3:30) when approaching folks on the street/park don't frame the question about marijuana negatively (i.e. don't ask them why they have a problem with marijuana) but instead be neutral, say something like "I'm holding a plant that the government deems illicit. What are your thoughts about this?"

Im all for legalizing cannabis use for mature adults however by legalizing cannabis reserves the right for me to beat your ass or kill you if i catch you selling to my child or to any under age child for that matter, zero tolerance for selling to minors. That goes for every drug. We need to keep in mind that drugs can't have an influence on young minds. The real truth is that New Hampshire will not legalize cannabis until its more profitable than seizing it….it all comes down to money people….and NH makes more money off of drug busts than if they made it legal….they havent figured a way to tax it with maximum profit… pretty sad that's our leaders reasoning

  • Lpviper

You'll have a hard time convincing a free market arbitrator that 'zero tolerance' is a good idea, Bill.

    Otherwise, fantastic post!

  • Anton Lee

Wow, this is fantastic activism. You Manchester CD guys are great!

  • Danny

You are a very very naughty boy. Get back to work and stop misbehaving.

  • Skeptik

What's with all the shaved heads? lice or white power?

    no… really?

  • Lpviper

What's with the name 'Skeptik'? Bad speller or just retarded?

    no…really?
