VIDEO: Pot Smokers Help Stranded Motorist While Police Stand Around

Filed under: News, Police, Video — Ian at 12:10 am on Saturday, September 26, 2009

During 9/23’s Cannabis Celebration several shiftless, lazy, loser, do-nothing, jobless, braindead marijuana smokers assisted a broken-down motorist while Keene’s police stood around. Police scanner audio reveals an officer actually asked his supervisor for permission to go help the motorist, instead of just going and doing it. All the cops were doing was standing on the outside edge of the traffic circle, parked in the way of traffic, talking to participants in the celebration. He asked permission to walk fifty feet over to the broken-down motorist! How micromanaged are these guys? (You can hear the police audio on the forum discussion thread here. You need to be logged in to see and download them. Accounts are free, of course!) The footage of the community service by the recreational tokers starts at 1:21 -

Of course, the typical comment on the news articles about this story has basically been:
“Useless losers – get a job! Get a life!”

The fact is, most cannabis consumers are responsible, upstanding members of society. Same with alcohol. Open your eyes, angry ones. These people are your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family, whether you want to believe it or not.

They don’t belong in cages.

One problem with getting more of the ‘adult’ respectables to ‘come out of the closest’ as marijuana users is that many of them have kids. Risking your own freedom is one thing but risking having your kids taken by child protective services and molested or abused by state workers and/or foster parents is something most people could never do.

I understand your fear and I don’t blame you for having it. They are a scary gang that will hurt you and your family if they want to. I hope that you’ll find some area where you can take a little risk for freedom. Risk=reward.

If everyone takes a little risk in some area of governmental demands, it will make a big difference!

That was a great little workout! The man was beside himself with amazement and gratitude for what I would hope others would do for me if I was stuck in traffic. I do love how the police left shortly thereafter, I would assume embarrassed by the can-do attitude of some worthless stoners.

I think it’s great that y’all volunteered to help a fellow human while the armed bureaucrats of the state stood idle.

In “honor” of the Office of National Drug Control Propaganda’s $2 Billion ad campaign aimed at and laughed at by kids, perhaps the town square deserves a new nickname– Pete’s Couch.

In fl, your kids would immediatly be taken away for any marijuana “crime.” and where I lived, cops used to save some weed to toss into peoples cars whenever they felt the need to. Like when you get the politicos unhappy. Not a good combination.
