No Heat or Showers at Westmoreland Jail, Say Prisoners
Liberty activists traveled to the county jail in Westmoreland today to demonstrate on behalf of Kurt Hoffman when they stumbled onto an even bigger story – the prisoners held up signs in the windows indicating that the showers were broken and that they have no heat.
How long this has been the case is not known. It’s certainly not a way to treat human beings. See the footage here:

That’s okay. After all only evil, evil rapists and murderers aver get put in jail.
Oh look over there! A celebutard is having another baby!!
Maybe if they did not waste all that money putting peaceful people like Kurt, Sam, Mike, Ian, ETC.. in prison they could afford heat and hot water for the prisoners.
How much money have they spent keeping people that touch marijuana like Andrew Carroll in prison?
How many other peaceful people are there for victim-less crimes and are being forced to suffer without heat? I know Kurt is.
On Oct 2 the temperature dropped to 37 degrees f. That is cruel to keep people lock in there with no heat.
To be fair, all we have here is the allegations of current prisoners that they are being mistreated.
However I don’t doubt at all that the “prison system” can’t afford to turn on the heat until some pre-determined date – and will leave it on even if there is an abnormally hot streak after that time.
Does the prison have public usage statistics? You know, to prove to the other bureaucrats what the electric and water bills cost? I would be interesting to see if the gallons of water reflect sanitary-length showers for the full population, and if gas/electric or whatever heating bill could reflect keeping the interior temps of bunks and other inmate areas above at least 60-65 degrees at all times…
“…above at least 60-65 degrees at all times…”???WTF???…IAWAI, either you’re the biggest pussy ever born North of the Mason-Dixon line, or you’re some flatland Southern door-belle flatlander…50-55 is the best temp. for some YANKY-PANKY under the woolens…
For reference, I’ve slept in a sleeping bag on the ground in a nylon tent in sub-zero temps for multiple nights in a row; I was merely trying to illustrate some humane standard that one would expect from having shelter provided by a captor.
To suggest the temp should be selected to facilitate “Yanky-Panky” in the prison is both enlightening and frightening. And if the prisoners were each granted a full ‘woolen’, I’d understand having the heat set lower, but I doubt that the prison is on top of making sure each inmate is provided for.
Sucks so much there maybe you will obey the law next time.
Kudos to the Texas Sheriff that pitched tent city for prisoners…
Why don’t you all travel down there and overtake the government. Oh thats right, Texas isn’t a sleepy little town like Keene, and Texans like to shoot.
Sucks so much for the gassed Jews maybe they shouldn’t be Jews next time.
Regardless of their status as “law breakers” – humane treatment is supposed to be required by the United States criminal justice system.
This is just another example of the gov’t breaking its own rules because no one cares about the people they’ve made into victims (again, regardless of their status as previous aggressors upon someone else, they are a victim now), and no one can really hold them responsible.
Wyatt, I’d like to hear your suggestions for rooting the evil out of this world, or do you think that the govt will do that for you?
…um, *MAYBE*, there’s nothing wrong with the boiler now that they’ve *PATCHED IT*, and the heat’s OK…the “prisoners” just wanna get some piggy-back publicity on BURKE-FUCKS’ petulant, lame ass ego which thinks everthing that isn’t licking his browneye constitutes “contempt”…YOU are BENEATH MY CONTEMPT, BURKE-FUCK! So how could I possibly be *IN* it???…love my freekeeneies! you guys are da bomb!….(also assuming that, as suggested else where on this blog, that this isn’t all just some more C.I.A. mindfuck, or whatever…)…whuteva!
Tell me what you're thinking...
