Mass Free Stater Arrests – Possible Round-Up Occurring

Last night, former Keeniac and publisher of the New Hampshire Free Press, Russell Kanning was kidnapped by armed men in Lebanon. Tonight, activist Jim Johnson was arrested at his home by staties allegedly on a “disorderly conduct” charge from Nashua. How many times has ANYONE been arrested weeks later for “disorderly conduct”? That’s normally a catch-all they bust you with on the spot during an encounter. He is being held in Westmoreland jail with Russell at least until an arraignment on Monday.

Not only that, but there is also an arrest warrant out for Jim’s wife, heroic civil disobedience superactivist Lauren Canario. Presumably for the same “offense”. Jim and Lauren haven’t been in Nashua for weeks. The last time he was there was during the Nashua 420 crackdown. Considering there were dozens of activists there, should any who can be identified be concerned that an arrest warrant has been issued for them as well?

Who will be next?

Here’s the raw video of Jim’s kidnapping:

Jim is one of the most peaceful people I know. I can't imagine what in the world they could have concocted to arrest him. He hasn't done anything. This is just bizarre.

I always thought "Love your neighbor" was easy, and I never really had enemies. It has become challenging for me, when seeing things like this … I hope to become better at it over time.

From my trial, according to their own NH supreme court, disorderly conduct can only be alleged by a private citizen. The disorderly person has to be warned and then ordered to leave. If they don't leave they can be arrested.

How did this happen weeks later? What good upstanding member of the NH juridical community approved this?

It's really all just a sick joke, isn't it? How can these people be so fucking courteous? It's more insulting than if they just kicked the door in.

  • tRySt

Any way this could be related to that new FBI posting to their website?

Remember, when you say you're not going to say any more, don't say any more.

Even if you don't have anything in your pocketses',

you're nicey nice and the copperses' are tricksy.

We don't fuck with your guys much, SO STOP TAKING OURS!

This must be some mass crackdown on free state activists. Any ideas or a recommended strategy if we find police coming to get us, too?

  • Peacemaker

No doubt our peaceful friends have been TARGETED by "our servants" (yeah right) for "our protection."

    Got police state?

This is so out of the blue that it can only be translated into sneaky dishonest behavior.

    Wes,

If you are in the state and need advice with any unplanned encounters with police you can phone WinLiberty at 888-876-5963…if it doesn't ring thru we're busy but we'll call you right back.

Following is some basic advice for all close encounters of the cop kind:

Basically, remember and USE your right to remain silent.

You can and should ask to see a warrant. If stopped by police, say: Am I under arrest or being detained? If they say "yes" ask "what is the charge"? Sometimes you might have to ask again, if they are not telling you. Remember, they are not supposed to arrest or detain without telling why they are arresting or detaining you.

If they are coming to your house, the above applies, but ask if they have a warrant. If they say yes, ask to see it…ask or tell, it's up to you…just KNOW they must show it to you if they have it.

In the video, the cop said he'd show the warrant, but it was in the car. Best response would have been, well, I'll wait while you go get it and show it to me (in the situation shown on the video the cop probably had no written warrant signed by a judge).

Don't answer ANY questions. None. You don't have to answer any questions; they cannot "require" you to answer. Always fall back on "am I being arrested or detained…" Tell them you won't answer any questions unless you have an attorney present and advising you to answer.

If there are more attempted arrests in NH WinLiberty wants to know about it. Call us. Or email winliberty@gmail.com

DO NOT discuss details in public fora, like on Facebook, etc.

ALWAYS remember: Anything you say can and WILL be used against you in a court of law. NOTHING you say can help you. Just keep quiet till you have an attorney. Usually, there's nothing wrong with letting others know of the arrest or detention, but DO NOT go into details in public…it NEVER can help you and it always might be used against you.

  • not that important

Well guys, I think you are putting way too much weight in assuming you are important enough to care about.

They came to arrest people on outstanding warrants, period. The whole FS thing is just like a grain of sand in your eye…an annoyance that will go away.

They dont care that much and if you keep being an irritant they will then just wash you away.

Dont think you are that much of an influence.

  • hiding were you

Oh, I see now…Russel was arrested on a child support issue? Pay your obligation or make a legitimate appeal against it. Dont hide behind the mantle of civil disobedience to avoid your legal and moral obligations.

  • AnarchoJesse

My sympathies to the victims of this complete and utter bullshit.

  • iawai

    Not That Important:

Thanks for pretending, but as the OTHER recent arrests show, they are targeting activists.

FSers are only an annoyance to you if you believe in using force to control others, otherwise you are right, they don't matter. If you just lived your life and didn't legitimize the intrusions into others' actions by the State, these FSers would bother you at all. But a pain in the ass they are to any Statist, like you who must post on the internet to contradictorily claim that the FSers aren't worth addressing, or like the police who prey on taxpayers to earn a living enforcing the mob-rule on the marginal population (the poor, the politically unimportant, the minorities, the dissenters).

If all we want is to be left alone, why do you keep instigating new confrontations?

  • Paul

"They came to arrest people on outstanding warrants, period."

Yes, funny how the outstanding warrants were for "disorderly conduct" occurring weeks ago, during which no business was disrupted, and there was no complainant. It's also funny how they were arrested, instead of being handed summonses.

They're going after everyone who spoke out against their actions in the park, and they'll make up anything, including utter BS charges, to excuse it. It's plain as day to anyone not willfully blind.

  • http://ringingliberty.com Paul

Oh, and "Trooper" Gillis is a liar.

  • Capuzzo

    Well said, Paul.
