Liberty-minded people called “Talkback” on WKBK last week to discuss KPD’s lemonade stand crackdown and the city council drinking game. Local activist supporter David calls in to share his thoughts about Keene’s liberty activists. One of the local “dissenters” group calls in as well.

Loved Sam’s call. He left her just speechless. You could hear the hamster just stop running on the wheel inside Cynthia’s head.
I dont know how you guys maintain your calm when talking to these people. They are monsters in their own bubble, and will make excuses for themselves forever.
I always love how Ian artfully speaks the truth and I love even more how his words resonate with listeners.
My favorite part is the literary snob who called in at the very end. First, I wonder what he pictures in his mind when he hears or uses the word anarchy. It seems he can’t get past some dreadful imagery. Perhaps he should expand his library. Secondly, he couldn’t argue any of Sam’s points and found it more agreeable to correct his verbiage. Well done sir! Other listeners also used context to deduce that he meant ‘congregate’, but don’t feel empowered by calling in and correcting him.

I realized it was the wrong word as soon as I said it, but I felt it was more important to continue the discussion. As you guys said, most reasonable people knew what I meant. What is it the haters call us?

If you want activism that focuses on different issues, that’s great! Stop complaining about others’ activism and efforts, and instead be a leader on the issues that are important to you. The door is wide open. The opportunities are there. Use FreeKeene.com to get your message out and to rally supporters to your cause.
Some of the commenters sound like backseat drivers that prefer to complain about someone else’s driving instead of getting behind the wheel when given the chance.
Instead of looking at FreeKeene as the enemy, use it to your advantage to push your own pro-liberty agenda.
Thats an awesome post PaulO. If everyone aggrivated with marijuana or breasts, does there own peaceful activism on different issues in different ways, there will be no stopping the spread of logic and morality.

No one who owns their own business counts the hours they are there, unless the are being paid by the hour. And no one I know who owns their own business is paid by the hour. I have known plenty of people who own their own business and pay themselves by the hour.

If a behavior is not typical of folks who are not business savvy, that doesn’t mean it necessarily is typical of all folks who are business savvy. Shall I draw a Venn diagram for you? The set of people who behave this way is generally a proper subset of the business savvy, not an identical set.
