What there is of TSA video doesn't seem to support Meg's account, although I wonder what happened after the clip ended — and what was going on offscreen.

I wonder if anyone stops to think that when performing the enhanced pat downs to search for weapons the TSA agent might accidentally set off a bomb?

Could you imagine the outcry if the police sent some amateur to check a suspicious package instead of calling the bomb squad to do it and the bomb exploded?

In their training, are they taught to be thorough, but not that thorough? I wonder if anyone even posed that question to the TSA agents?

Ok, I take it back, the second video is entirely consistent with her account. You can't tell that she's handcuffed to the chair, but she certainly appears to be being berated for an extended period of time, and there certainly are around a dozen idle tax feeders standing around her.

If any business wasted so much manpower, they'd be out of business in no time, but I guess massive waste is par for the course for these bureaucracies.

It's easy to stay in business, after all, if your customers have to pay you on threat of you stealing their homes …

These two videos don't show the entirety of what transpired – and we don't hear audio. We don't know what transpired (from the video) between when she leaves the holding area and we see her exiting the terminal. These clips neither confirm nor deny her allegations.

I would say the second video partially confirms her allegations. We certainly see the dozen cops/agents she references, and what's seen is consistent with her being berated for an extended period of time.

Since we do not have audio (which is really the most important part), we cannot verify what was said, and the second video is not a good enough angle to tell if she was handcuffed, or her ticket was ripped up.

Since what's seen is entirely consistent with her story, however, I think this bolsters her case, if anything.

Two glaring inconsistencies just at the beginning:

Meg: "the only random person chosen for the body scanner"

Reality – the video shows 10+ people having to go through it

Meg: she "grabbed my arm and started pulling me into this area"

Reality – the video shows that no one touched her and she walked into that area on her own

The cuffs and the tissue may very well may have happened in the second video. The angle's not good enough to tell. The second video certainly corroborates the "getting lectured" and "lots of cops/agents standing around" parts.

David, Paul – Regarding the other people going through the Full Body Scanner.

It looks to me that Meg was in the regular X-Ray line, and they CHOSE her to go into the Body Scanner. There is also a Body Scanner line you can stand in if you want. I went through one of these in an airport a few weeks ago. I realized I was standing in the Body Scanner line, and switched lines to the X-Ray. No one said anything.

Just because other people are going through the Body Scanner, doesnt mean that Meg's story was wrong.

In fact, this Video doesnt prove or disprove her story. If anything, it confuses the whole situation. I can easily see arguments being made both way on this one. Without audio there is no way of knowing what is going on, and the camera angles here are AWFUL, and dont show anything.

Its also an incomplete video of meg's experience.
