It has just been announced that at the Philadelphia City Council meeting on March 15th, the council will be discussing the proposed legislation to mandate permits and food preparation classes to give donated food to the needy.
Coincidentally, this happens to be the day that Kelly Voluntaryist and myself at the Philadelphia Liberty Lobby have decided to feed the homeless inside City Hall during the meeting!
What perfect timing!
Spread the word! Especially to the homeless!
When: Thursday, March 15, 9:00AM
Where: Philadelphia City Hall
What: Meal sharing in front of the City Council to show them how we feel about this bill!Please contact me to let me know if you can help in any way! We will need help promoting the event, raising the supplies, and getting a big turnout to speak in opposition to this tyrannical legislation!
