Free State Project EXPOSED! | How Libertarians Took Over New Hampshire

On May 24 2017 I attended, “Exposing the Free State Project,” 90 minutes of slander and lies by Zandra Rice Hawkins. Hawkins is a propagandist with Granite State Progress, a political arm of the New Hampshire Democrats. She apparently missed her calling as a preacher of the fire and brimstone variety, given the fear, mistrust, and terror she attempted to sow throughout the crowd. In the end, attendees seemed rightfully doubtful of Hawkins’ spurious claims that Free Staters are wolves in sheep’s clothing, secretly plotting to dismantle every beloved societal institution they can. Instead, Free Staters were seen as open, willing to engage others on the issues that matter most to them, and find common ground where possible to make a better life for everyone.

The event was advertised as “free and open to the public.” In case you missed it, a generous attendee provided me with a 90-minute audio recording:

The Foundation for New Hampshire Independence Welcomes Carla Gericke as President

Activists in New Hampshire have used many methods to promote personal freedom in the past years. Many will go into politics to change the system from within, others will use civil disobedience to demonstrate the aggression of the state. Some, such as this blogger, have taken to promoting New Hampshire Independence as a way to promote personal freedom. The federal government represents a majority of the tyranny that we face in our lives and the Foundation for New Hampshire Independence has a mission to educate the citizens of New Hampshire that we can peacefully separate from the control of the federal government. Today it is with great pleasure that I announce that Carla Gericke, former President of the Free State Project, has been appointed the President of the Foundation for New Hampshire Independence.

Free State Project’s Final Push

The last few months have seen an acceleration of signers for the Free State Project. The big push is coupled with a fundraising campaign aimed at finishing out the remaining signers through targeted social media advertising and PR. Steps are also underway to make the most out of Triggering the Move while enabling out-of-state signers to find their place in New Hampshire.

I’ve been working with the Free State Project to craft videos for the fundraiser. Check it out!

The individuals that have moved for the Free State Project have made quite a few headlines this past year as well…

FSP Participants use bitcoin to (possibly) make history

FSP Participant Neal Conner was recently interviewed by a Fox News correspondent after he advertised his car for bitcoin, and the Concord Monitor recently reported on the wide range of goods and services available for bitcoin. However, in what is believed to be the first time a car has sold for bitcoin in New Hampshire, vlogger and new mover Robert Mathias (aka Voluntaryist Rebel) purchased a 2006 Nissan Sentra from Free Keene blogger and radio host Darryl W. Perry using bitcoin.

“You’re not welcome here!” Says the NH State Rep… FROM RHODE ISLAND

State Rep. Cynthia Chase posted on BlueHampshire, “Free Staters are not welcome here.” She continued by writing:

“Cheshire County is a welcoming community but not to those whose stated goal is to move in enough ideologues to steal our state, and our way of life.
Ultimately the Free Staters want NH to be a platform state for them to export their views to the rest of the country. Some of these folks dress up pretty well, but if you check their website you will find that they are really wolves in sheep’s clothing. The best strategy from my perspective is to keep shining a light on their views and activities and make it very plain that NH is not up for sale to any ideology. To ignore these people and hope they go away is a recipe for disaster.”
