The Southern Poverty Law Center is no friend of freedom, liberty, or common sense.
The SPLCÂ is the very organization that claims to stand against everything evil and unjust…. while they support the very institution that has been used to implement the greatest evil and immorality that history has recorded.
In an article I read yesterday the SPLC is attacking a candidate for sheriff in Orange County, CA. They specifically are attacking him for being a member of Oath Keepers, a group of military and law enforcement employees who are declaring that above all else they are going to follow their oath to their respective constitution…. and not follow illegal orders. Heaven forbid.
This same exact reasoning got me booted from Law Enforcement Against Prohibition.
Follow your oath = bad.
In the article there is an individual quoted as saying “”Not following orders–that’s called a coup, a junta.“” Under this train of logic would a police officer who refused to arrest a black person for drinking out of a white person drinking fountain be wrong? Would a German soldier be committing a junta when he refused to enact the will of the Third Reich?
How did slavery become enacted? The state.
How did Jim Crow laws exist? The state.
How did Hitler manage to give legitimacy to genocide? How did it happen in Rwanda? The Congo? The state.
How are our fellow human beings caged like animals today for mere possession of a plant? For peacefully protesting outside a jail that they allegedly paid for? The state.
The state is what allows people with insidious and immoral intentions the perception of legitimacy. %51 of the people deciding to off the other %49 does not make it right. If you wanted to make it right, though, all you need to do is control the “education” of children. Once you control the education of children you can make black equal white and up equal down.
Kids grow up today thinking it is okay to imprison someone for possessing a plant in the same manner that children grew up thinking treating our fellow human beings with enhanced skin pigmentation like crap was appropriate.
For an organization who wants to be known as opposing anything unfair it is surprising to me that they haven’t figured out what the real problem is. This is the logic trap that everyone who supports the state cannot escape…. and it is the trap that changed my mind about how civilization has decided to organize itself.
There is indeed a better way…. and it doesn’t involve the violence of the state.
History is happening now.
