As time passes, the singular thing remaining constant is change. As a blogger at Free Keene and a Liberty Activist, I hope to push ideas designed to ignite critical thinking over pushing limits. We strive to create interest, attract new movers, and generate discussion.
Keene is certainly changing, and it’s building momentum towards freedom, that will only grow as more activists move and more locals join us in working towards a more peaceful voluntary society.
Those of you labeling the topless protest as, “Free Stater”, did you know the topless women were locals? I’ve eaten lunch in the Red Light District of Amsterdam while a school picture was being taken of 6-12 year old school kids. They were out on the steps surrounded on the canal by girls in the windows wearing varying degrees of clothing.
How to the Dutch manage? They are much more concerned with violence than sex and doesn’t America have some of the highest teen pregnancy rates? Is this a working system that spends over $18,300 per student? (Source: http://www.sau29.org) Could parents more effectively direct that money to better educate their kids?
The Free State only exists to move people here. They get active in whatever manner they see fit. Some join efforts with Free Keene, several do not.
The Free Keene website chronicles the transition to a voluntary society.
It’s referring to both the current journey to freedom and the courage of those standing up to BE free, under a tyrannical system willing to use force against peaceful people who have caused no harm.
The editorial then goes on to repeat refuted comments reported by the paper. In the mean time today I received more thumbs up from kids on the buses, others who loudly voice their dissent, and a few that engaged me in discussion.
The article’s summary of the “sophomoric actions” like “turning Keene District Court into a madhouse “ simply doesn’t address the reality of what’s happening there. Free Keene has documented judges openly winking at the city prosecutor, testifying for witnesses, CSO’s assaulting people, state agents committing perjury on the stand, and the list goes on.
Though I must admit, the next statement takes the cake, “people celebrating the hallucinogenic properties of marijuana in Central Square ”. The author is anonymous, so who knows, maybe it’s a former US Drug Czar, and the author don’t realize the absurdity of that statement.
I would recommend you learn the truth about drugs, their effects, and safety precautions for for those who will inevitably choose to use drugs: http://www.erowid.org/
To finish it off with “semi-vulgar signs in front of a school”, perhaps you noticed today the “Education Rocks! School Sucks Project.com sign? We hope the teachers, parents, and students gain a new perspective on their school experience by listening to the podcast at http://www.SchoolSucksProject.org
The liberty activists learn from the varying approaches each individual chooses. There is no guidebook, we are continually refining our message working towards a peaceful voluntary society, free of the need for institutionalized coercion and violence. Doesn’t that feel like a step in the right direction to you?
