Medical cannabis has passed both the NH house and senate, but as usual, “governor” John Lynch has promised to veto it. Please take a moment and call his office at 603-271-2121 and encourage him to sign SB 409 into law and support medical patients rights to use the medicine of their choice. Here’s a personal story from Sarah Levesque about her father:
This is my father as a medical marijuana patient. The marijuana alleviated his nausea and allowed him to eat. It eased his pain to a tolerable level and allowed him to function, instead of being in a zombie like state from being doped up on the pharmaceutical pain killers he was prescribed. (more…)

Most people are aware of cults. Some are more familiar than others, having actually been in one, or having a loved one who was or still is. Religious cults are the most obvious. In addition there are self-help cults and marketing cults.
Some critics have accused the liberty movement as being a cult. However, when you break it down, it doesn’t fit the parameters. Really what is happening, is those accusing liberty-oriented people of being cult members are just projecting. Whether they realize it or not, they are deep within a cult of their own. It’s a cult so pervasive and effective, that people don’t realize they are a part of it.
Until a better name is put forth, I’d call it the Authority Cult. In Larken Rose’s excellent book, “The Most Dangerous Superstition”, he clearly outlines how the belief in “authority” is incredibly destructive to the ends of peace. It’s an excellent and enlightening read.
There are classic signs you are in a cult, and the Authority Cult is replete with them:
Brainwashing Techniques
There is no shortage of brainwashing going on in the Authority Cult. Children are indoctrinated from a young age to believe in “authority” and to respect those who claim to have it. The message is very effective, and the government schools churn out wave after wave of worker drones who are not likely question their beliefs and will hand over a huge portion of their earnings to the Authority Cult leadership.
Chanting is also another serious warning sign, and Authority Cult members are inculcated from an early age with the “Pledge of Allegiance” (more…)

For those who are unaware, the house grievance panel has been hearing from people screwed over by John P. Arnold of Cheshire “superior” court. Arnold was recently invited to testify in his defense in front of the panel. Arnold did not show. He didn’t even send an attorney to speak for him.
Now, according to Stop Judicial Child Abuse, the grievance panel can subpeona people like John P. Arnold. When or if Arnold will be subpeonaed, remains to be seen.

From freeconcord.org:

The issue of censorship has recently been raised in the Concord Monitor, in pieces by Felice Belman which appeared last week as well as today. In a March 27 article, the editor discussed how some individuals who had been quoted from stories in the past wished to conceal themselves from a search query, as they no longer wished to be associated with their statements. While addressing their concerns, the matter is concluded flatly that, “The Monitor isn’t in the business of rewriting history. Our online news archives are an important historical resource, for the public and for the newsroom staff.”
In a story published today titled The Letter You Won’t Read, we learn about a retracted letter to the editor. The letter included a name in the attached contact information, but was signed as anonymous. With the Monitor having a policy against publishing unsigned articles (except when someone is able to sign their article as ‘Monitor Staff’), they contacted the author, informing her that they would be willing the publish the article with an authentic name attached. On those conditions, she withdrew the letter. (more…)
