As a participant of the Occupy actions/development in New Hampshire it was pretty clear to me and many other activists that the Free State Project and libertarian/Ron Paul/Koch Tools had early on taken over Occupy and continue to attempt to brand it for themselves. Occupy was originally in New York and Boston to Oakland, a left wing anarchist, anti-capitalist movement. It was a movement spurned by the losses incurred to the people from the excesses and robbery of run-away capitalism and greed promulgated by a government bought and sold by corporate interests. I occupied too, and the movement initially gathered in various places throughout the world to discuss what they stand for, and democratically define their mission goals.

So those goals depend on the percentage of the local population that decided to actually meet & occupy, which results in a small snapshot of the prevailing ideologies of the area. (in theory)

What happened in NH was apparently that a minority of “left-wingers” couldn’t outvote a majority of freedom-loving folks from all corners of the political spectrum.

I’m still Occupying. And Occupy Fizzled out as people got jobs, and didn’t have time to maintain a fully functioning movement. Occupiers have to eat. And Occupy New Hampshire didn’t raise funds or get the food donations other occupations received. Occupy in New Hampshire isn’t dead. It’s merely dormant until the time is right.
