FOX 25 Boston’s Kathryn Burcham filed this excellent report on the continuing assault on peaceful Seacoast UBER driver Stephanie Franz, the 63-year-old grandmother who has now been ticketed several times for driving people places without a government permission slip.
She, despite facing $3,500 in fines from the city for her peaceful civil disobedience, is remaining steadfast, and is demanding her trial. Kudos to UBER for providing Stephanie with legal representation, gratis. Here’s the FOX report, which is very positive and fair towards her:
Here’s the full interview FOX 25 conducted with Stephanie, as recorded by Free Keene blogger Darryl W. Perry, who attended last night’s activities:
How is this positive? It doesn’t change the fact that she owes $3,000 in fines. It doesn’t change the fact that Uber driving is illegal.
This is quite some serious news for people who use and sell bitcoins.

Uber is actually paying Uber Grandma’s fines.
Hey, look! More lies from Jacks.
She has not been convicted of anything, so she does not owe a penny.
Wanna bet as to whether a NH jury would convict her? I expect they wouldn’t. Here in NH (a place you know nothing about, as is blatantly obvious) we have real juries, who actually judge the law as well as the guilt of the accused. NH juries have even refused to convict folks who admitted to felonies in open court, because they believed the law itself was unjust.
And Uber driving is not illegal.
Uber…. Uber Benevolent!!! EST.. This is the way of the now… And the faster we all embrace brother helping Sister, and sister, helping brother…. The faster we are going to be able to grease on thru.. But as always it it’s the Heart of the pioneers that show the way and make lighted paths for the inclined????
Flint – How am I lying? I said what I believe. The fines are still there no matter who pays for it or not. How long do you think Uber is going to pay these fines? or Pay for lawyers?
You see reasoning is not a quality you posses. You seem to like jumping to conclusions without facts while make believing your statements are some gift from above. Try to use reasoning skills. Since you have trouble in this area, I suggest you go to your local library and check out a book on the subject.
No, the fines are not “there.” No one has paid anything, because no one has been convicted of anything. You’re lying claiming that there’s been a conviction, and you’re lying claiming that taxi drivers are subject to special training requirements. You were caught in the last lie rather thoroughly, being totally unable to find even the slightest shred of evidence to support it.
Flint – Again you show your true ignorance. She received citations for her driving which amount to a significant chunk of change. Those are fines.
Yes, taxi drivers do need special licenses to operate a cab in many many states. Just google it unless you are afraid.
Here is one for instance

Fines are imposed by a court. She has citations. Until found guilty in a court of law, she owes nothing. And, as discussed, a NH jury isn’t going to do that. You did not say that taxi drivers in some other state need a special license. You said that taxi drivers in Portsmouth, NH need a special license. That was a lie. I even pointed out that what you were saying was the case in other states, but not NH, and you insisted on repeating your lie that it was the case in NH. Actually, I seem to recall you… Read more »
