A Few Highlights from the Deliberative Session 2016

Some of last Saturday’s attendants at the school deliberative session are actually concerned with the Bigger Picture: the future health of the community. Sure, a good education is important, but at what cost?

In NH, as the law stands currently, a Warrant Articles can be amended to pretty much anything you want as long as the subject matter isn’t changed. New legislation that would protect the “intent” of all future warrants was introduced this year, but was ultimately killed on the House floor, 194-100. Without that protection, this is the sort of nonsense that can take place at our Town Hall meetings.

Many have voiced concerns over the extremely poor turnout and lack of participation in city and school politics over the years. The bureaucrats are clueless as to why. Ian nails it.

Aww … poor fucking babies. You dipshits put forth warrants that are asinine to begin with, so better to kill them here at a meeting like this rather than waste everyone’s time when the outcome is already known.

Eddie

I love how Conan states that 77-or-so people do not represent the wishes of the majority of the citizens of Keene (he’s correct), but he and his same group of lame cohorts will state that a poll of 532 people represents the will of the state of NH in regards to decriminalization of marijuana.

Fucking hypocritical assholes.

Eddie

I also find it absolutely ironic that Conan, Bernard and the other members of the dipshit posse take offense to other people doing THE EXACT SAME FUCKING THING they so often do to others when they disagree with their wishes.

You know that these assholes would be attempting to “gut” warrant articles they dislike the same way Parent does with the warrants he doesn’t like.

The hypocrisy is stunning, but entirely not unexpected.

I totally agree Eddie.

It’s the usual freekeene propaganda squad. Of course they never win

JJ aat least one of the petitioned articles did pass unamended. Which is a win for lower taxes… which you are against

Jumping Jacks

davidinkeene – The one minor petition does not affect the taxes. I suggest you educated yourself. Never has conan’s BS taken hold to change anything. The same goes for Ian Bernard.

Eddie doesn’t understand how statistics work. Must have a public school education.

Randomly-selected samples of a population represent that population, to a given margin of error.

Those attending a deliberative session are not selected randomly from the population. They self-select to attend, which means that they are not a random sample, at all. In point of fact, they are just about the precise opposite of a random sample.
