In a near-complete victory, James Cleaveland was found not guilty of “resisting arrest” and the jury was deadlocked 6-6 on his “disorderly conduct” charge this week. Here’s the full video of his trial and the pretrial motions:

So…… what does this video show when everyone knows the outcome?
Jumping Jacks always complaining.
You’re so negative, someone could give you a 2016 Lexus LS600 and you would complain about the nauseating new leather smell.
One big fucking waste of time.
Cops lying in court, for one. Good thing the evidence is being preserved for their trials, right? Because you think that everyone who commits a crime should be punished severely, right? How many years in prison do you hope those cops get? They can be sentenced to as much as seven years if convicted of perjury. And, even if they somehow beat that rap and keep their jobs, NH law requires that, for the rest of their careers, prosecutors inform each and every defendant with whom they interact that they’ve been caught lying; their credibility as witnesses is now gone.… Read more »
“Cops lying in court?” OMG the cop said that he asked Cleveland more than once that if he keeps filming where he is, he will be arrested. The “lie” was that he only asked Cleveland once. Really that’s all you guys have in trying to put a bad light on a cop that is trying to do his job, and is recalling something. Either way he was trying to protect your buddy Cleveland from potentially getting shot at. You asshats blindly turn your head to that, and that is a reason I say the keeniacs think their entitled to do… Read more »
Uh, no, he lied about more than that. Perhaps you should actually watch the video, since you apparently missed all of the lies. Like where he lies about Cleveland resisting arrest, for example. That’s not a minor detail; he invented a crime out of thin air, which is just about the worst kind of lie possible.
I’ve watched both the old and videos, the officer told him he was under arrest, and before that told him if he did not leave the area he was coming with them, “the men with guns” as you asshats call them, Cleveland did resist arrest by pulling his arm away and taking steps back, that’s all the makings for resisting arrest flinty! Bottom line is he was trying to get your friend Cleveland out of harms way. BTW did any of the other media outlets get arrested that night? Answer, NO because they know the limitations that are set in… Read more »
@Bsizzle: Your story doesn’t add up with the actual video, or the trial.
Cleveland is not my friend – never even met the guy – but they also proved at trial that the nonsense about safety was a lie. The cops admitted that the guy was no threat to anyone but himself.
And no, the other media were not arrested. Nor did they adhere to the same limitations. They were much closer and in much greater “danger,” if danger existed. Cleveland was singled out for different “limitations,” in a clear case of harassment.
It’s not a “story”, it’s reality, and your delusional. Cleveland is NOT part of the press, and anyone in close proximity to a suicidal man with a gun IS, in danger, fucking wake up. Cleveland I guess isn’t your friend, but you sure stick up for his dumbass like if he was your friend. When are you going to learn.
What am I complaining about? I posted an observation. If you choose to put words in people’s mouths, I suggest you start with yours and see how many lies come out.
Are you still claiming that James Cleaveland is not a journalist, Bsizzle? I thought we had already covered all this? And didn’t you just claim that you had watched the video of the trial? You weren’t just skimming through to the fun parts were you Bsizzle? I hope not. That would mean that you were being dishonest. Perhaps I simply misunderstood you. Oh well. Fortunately for you I have a link here to help correct these false conceptions of yours. Please watch and (more importantly) listen to it carefully, Bsizzle. The important part comes up rather quickly and I wouldn’t… Read more »
Enlighten me draccc, about the beginning of the video and what I missed because I just watched the part of the state trooper telling Cleveland twice in two different ways of saying that your going to be arrested if you don’t leave the area. BTW Cleveland was on private property not on a public road or property, so he shouldn’t of been there you asshat. Cleveland said NO to being arrested. Just by him saying that means he is resisting, secondly Cleveland is NOT a member of the press, none of the press got arrested for not being in the… Read more »
@Bsizzle: No, actually, saying “no” cannot constitute resisting arrest. For someone who’s so obsessed with saying that everyone should obey the law, you certainly don’t seem to know anything about it. Resisting arrest requires that the individual “physically interfere” with the arrest. It’s RSA 642:2.
Which, of course, is why the officer lied and claimed that Cleveland made a physical attempt to resist being arrested. But the video shows that was a lie. So, since you’re all about laws being enforced, you’ll be calling for that officer’s arrest, right? He committed multiple crimes when he made that false report.
Yup, ok throw him in jail. Why don’t you go and protest the cop to be thrown in jail. Enlighten me what I missed about the beginning of the video that is so important.
The link I provided shows Cleaveland’s attorney asking him about his journalistic credentials, Bsizzle. Apparently you didn’t watch it carefully.
Cleveland has NO journalistic credentials!
Cleaveland’s answers to Attorney Paul Garrity’s questions says that he does have journalistic credentials, Bsizzle. Cleaveland was under oath during this deposition. Are you accusing Cleaveland of committing perjury, Bsizzle, or are you just repeating your lie over and over again to convince yourself to believe it?
Well just like the cops I guess he lied under oath to, huh draccc. Double castration for the both of them!
Lmao…
Why isn’t Cleveland head trying to prove himself?
Cleveland should be able to speak up for himself seeing he is the Mastermind, with an “offical” press pass. BTW, for whom is Cleveland a journalist for?
