News Update

1. More violence in Rochester, NH attributable to the never-ending insane drug war.  A man robbed a pharmacy needing prescription drugs.  Thankfully no one was hurt.

This violence could easily be avoided.  So long as drug prohibition exists, opiate addicted people will lead a life of crime in order to fulfill their addictions.  Sure, many of you will say “well it is their fault for using drugs in the first place”, and not want to be compassionate to these people.  Not being compassionate and taking a hard-on-crime approach to this problem is why there are so many burglaries and robberies to begin with.  Are you really okay with that?

On a fiscal basis alone, it would be far cheaper to offer these people treatment than it is to investigate all these crimes.

2. In an act that shows what I believe is that the people are generally much more in tune with reality opposed to the elected “leaders” of government, our neighbors in Eliot, ME have blocked the selectmen from indefinitely delaying the opening of a medical marijuana dispensary.  Good god man, let sick and dying people have access to any drug that they and their doctor says is capable of making their life better.

It is sad that the State of Maine is far more compassionate towards sick people than our own someday-free state.  Thanks John Lynch.

3. How many times do you have to see things like this before you realize that we live in a dangerous police state:

Pearce said her fiancé, who family members said did not have a criminal record, had used marijuana recreationally but was not a drug dealer. Pearce also said she was nine months pregnant, and that now her baby would be fatherless.

Another military style raid on a family (in the land of the free) resulting in an unarmed man being killed.  Over a plant.  A plant you’ve probably smoked.

If you’re reading this blog because you work for the government and oppose what we are advocating, we are doing this because we don’t want these horrible things to happen to you or someone you love.  Stop thinking of only yourself.  Don’t wait for your own world to be ruined before you start caring about the plight of other people.

Why do we oppose the violence of the state?  This is why.  The state is creating the victims here.

4. A man in Manchester, NH who had belongings stolen from his vehicle was able to solve the case and find his belongings on his own.  How do the police react to this?

Police said that while the sting worked out in this case, people should never try this sort of thing on their own. They said Lichtman did the right thing when he called police.

Guarantee you that if he had only called the police and not gone out on his own to investigate this that the chances of his property being found diminish about 80%.

Oh.  And why do you think his vehicle had things stolen from it?  Why on earth would the thief need to turn his items into cash so quickly?  Please see #1.
