I just read an article about the City of Dayton, Ohio being told by the United States Department of Justice that they will have to lower their testing standards because not enough black people are able to pass their police entrance exam.
Why on Earth should it matter what color someone’s skin is?
If you fail a test, you should have studied harder.  If you’re not smart enough to remember the things that you should know, your being black, red, brown, yellow, purple, or aquamarine shouldn’t give you a free pass (for any job).
Darn, we don’t have enough white doctors and only the Asian ones are passing the final exam.  Lower the test requirements and hire unqualified doctors because they’re white!  Stupid logic.
Skin color aside, I can’t imagine why the police administrators in Dayton would take issue with having to hire less intelligent law enforcers.  People without the ability to think apart from the hive-mind really don’t make good police officers anyways.  Do they really want individual police officers thinking about what they’re doing as an individual person to other individuals?
Of course not.
They didn’t want them doing that in the 60’s when they were enforcing Jim Crow and they sure as hell don’t want them doing it now when they enforce modern day tyranny.
Break down that door at 3:00AM and kill that family dog with your sub-machinegun over a plant? Â Yes sir!
Confiscate firearms from law abiding citizens in blatant disregard for the 2nd Amendment? Â Yes sir!
Trick nervous young drivers into giving up their privacy rights so you can tear their car apart? Â Yes sir!
Throw someone into a jail cell because they’re wearing a hat in a public building?  Yes sir!
Exactly what society needs: more daft automaton policing robots “just doing their job” hurting people at the behest of politicians.
I look forward to the day when people stop caring what the pigmentation level of a persons skin happens to be. No person should be judged by anything other than their actions and respect for others.
