- The police in Dover, NH are refusing to disclose the location of their public surveillance cameras. The Dover Police clearly haven’t paid attention to London, UK where there are literally a million cameras and %80 of their crimes go unsolved.
- Know how many cars you own? The City of Manchester, NH hasn’t the slightest clue. Really. When it’s stolen money you work with, you really don’t have to spend it wisely or pay attention where it goes. Credit to the new mayor though… he is trying to crack down on this incompetence.
- A “crime” committed in New Hampshire by a non-person (a corporation) usually has a higher penalty assessed (usually a felony when a real person would get a misdemeanor) so that fines are higher. After all, you can’t put a file folder in a jail cell. The Dartmouth fraternity of The Tabard is now facing felony charges because a 20-year old ended up arrested for the third time at one of their parties. $$$$$$$$$$$$$
- A bakery was robbed in Nashua. Another drug prohibition caused crime. The man pictured here appears to be “on the nod,” a term that describes a state of being commonly achieved by users of narcotics. This crime doesn’t sound like it had all that much forethought either. It sounds like a desperate sick man needed money… and he surely got it.

My advice echos Barry Cooper’s: Never talk to the police. It will further serve to get you in trouble.
Activists should be aware that the United States Supreme Court said yesterday that your right to remain silent does not bind on government agents unless you tell them so.
*scratches head*
A good blog detailing the case can be found here.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is no friend of freedom, liberty, or common sense.
The SPLC is the very organization that claims to stand against everything evil and unjust…. while they support the very institution that has been used to implement the greatest evil and immorality that history has recorded.
In an article I read yesterday the SPLC is attacking a candidate for sheriff in Orange County, CA. They specifically are attacking him for being a member of Oath Keepers, a group of military and law enforcement employees who are declaring that above all else they are going to follow their oath to their respective constitution…. and not follow illegal orders. Heaven forbid.
This same exact reasoning got me booted from Law Enforcement Against Prohibition.
Follow your oath = bad.

- The Union Leader is reporting that an inmate from a New Hampshire halfway house is on the loose. The article doesn’t say specifically what this man is imprisoned for but I’m going to guess: habitual offender. I agree that driving safely is important to road travel, however, one can become a habitual traffic offender having never harmed or even remotely endangered someone. The county jails are full of people imprisoned for the simple act of safely driving down the street after having been “certified” as a habitual offender. I am personally responsible for quite a few caged human beings for this reason and I’m truly sorry for it. In a just and free society people would only face punishment if they actually endangered or hurt someone else. This fellow, whom I am assuming has hurt no one else, now will face the charge of escape and several more years in the state prison… and we all get punished by having to pay for it. (more…)

- A Franklin, NH mom and her ten year old son got a taste of what a terrorist attack feels like when the police mistakenly busted into their house and pointed guns at them. “”They just walked away like it was OK for them to make a mistake, and when I asked them how do I explain to my 10-year-old why there was a gun in his face — what do I tell him — all they could say was, ‘Oh well. It’s not our fault. This is the address we were given.‘”” Well, mam, I’m not so sure how to put it, but……….. Working for the government means you never need be sorry… or apologize. If protection services were privatized (and made efficient), you’d bet your ass that this stuff wouldn’t fly. If a private policing force were to do this: they’d be fired.
- A prison warden was killed and dismembered down in Mexico City. The harder the government fights the “War on Drugs,” the more this brutality happens. The harder the government fights the “War on Drugs,” the more innocent people victimized by prohibition violence we will see. The real question is when are the government people going to realize this and stop the madness.
- The NH Attorney Genital is trying hard to get kids to not drink alcohol. Guess what? Kids don’t care what you say. They will drink it. Lets teach them to drink responsibly, not slap handcuffs on them when they do decided to do what all kids do.
- In Laconia, NH there is a good example of what the proper function of the police should be… to protect people. If the police only did things like this I’d wager there would never have been a Free State Project. Do you agree with me on that?
