Robin Hooding “Evidentiary” Hearing

On Monday, August 12, 2013 at 9 AM, the “Evidentiary” hearing for the Robin Hooding lawsuit will commence at:

Court Room 1, Superior Court, 12 Court Street, Keene NH 03431.RH

The hearing is allotted seven hours and  will determine if there is any grounds to continue the lawsuit and if a preliminary injunction should be granted against the respondents placing restrictions on their constitutionally protected rights of freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of assembly.

As previously mentioned, Jon Meyer is representing five of the robin hooders and Pete Erye is going pro se.

The “city of Keene” has hired a private law firm at an unknown cost to Keene taxpayers to represent “its” interests despite having a city attorney and his own assistants.

It should be interesting to see the supposed evidence that the “city” has regarding all the so-called “harassing” behavior by the robin hooders.

There is a chance that this ridiculous case will be dropped on constitutional issues.

If you can make it, I hope to see you there.

Yours Truly,

-James ‘Robin Hood’ Cleaveland

Paranoid Conspiracy Theories

CultIt’s interesting to be the fly on the wall for the conversation between people who are believers in the state and who feel threatened, angry, or confused about the liberty movement in NH. The misinformation and lies are pervasive, of course, as are personal insults about prominent liberty activists. That’s all to be expected when you have an effective movement that is actually making an impact – something the liberty movement has never had until the Free State Project.

More interesting still are the conspiracy theories that the state-believers ascribe to the liberty activism world. While some people in the liberty movement follow conspiracies (and in my opinion, to their detriment), apparently so do the statists. Here’s a summary of those I can recall off the top of my head or are currently being discussed in the brand new facebook group for haters of this website and the people associated with it, “Free Keene from Free Staters“.

  1. The Keene Sentinel has been infiltrated by Free Keene operatives. – This one is brand new and courtesy of a thread on the Free Keene from Free Staters haters group on Facebook.  Basically, someone posted an old article about Mark Edge from the Keene Sentinel, which discusses his past as a prisoner for nine years for a murder charge. Mark didn’t kill anyone and has turned his life around. Nonetheless, the state-believers are so paranoid that they think Sentinel reporter is candy-coating the murder rap and therefore must be Free Keene operatives that has infiltrated the Sentinel (former Sentinel reporter Phil Bantz is indicated by one hater group member as a possible mole). It is stated in the group that the paper’s editors will be approached, and much trashing of the Sentinel is done as well. The poor guys at the Sentinel can’t win, it seems. Now they are part of the liberty movement, according to paranoid state-believers.
  2. Activism must be organized hierarchically, like the state. – This one is pretty pervasive. People who believe in the state tend to believe that every other group of people must be organized just like theirs – an understandable confusion. (more…)

Marijuana Jury Nullification Tour

The Tour is on! The Marijuana Jury Nullification Tour that is, being made a reality by the NJ Weedman Ed Forchion, and videographers Beau Davis and Rob Davis, who will be filming this powerful and much needed juror education across the nation.  The people have lined up to make it happen and now the money needs to. Together they are raising the funds needed for the Weedmobile to hit the road from California to New Jersey, and to do this they are set up on the site http://www.youcaring.com/mission-trip-fundraiser/marijuana-jury-nullification-tour/73665. It looks like $140 is raised so far out of a goal of $2200, and there are 9 more days to make goal! NJ Weedman has already cancelled this tour once due to lack of funds, so it would be so sad if this gets cancelled again. I am giving my version of the widow’s mite, $4.20 to help, and just imagine if 500 people give $4.20 in the next 9 days, the Tour is on! When they visit jury selections and marijuana trials, imagine how many times 1 out of every 12 jurors might have an educated epiphany, or even 12 out of 12 jurors unanimously acquitting peaceful plant-loving people! So please consider giving any amount to help toward goal, or at least spread the word, and thank you to Beau and Rob for taking on this awesome activism adventure! Many are familiar with Beau’s film, Derrick J’s Victimless Crime Spree, a well-done masterpiece documentary worth the watch if you haven’t already.

Thank you to Gary Reed for this great article he wrote for the examiner.com to promote this Tour. Also check out njweedman.com for more info, and the NJ Weedman’s Promo Video for the Jury Nullification Tour.
