This morning, I appeared on WKBK’s “Talkback” with Cynthia Georgina to discuss the Free State Project. We ended up discussing a variety of other things as well over the two hours and heard from supportive callers as well as some very angry authoritarians! Download the MP3. Ward 4 City Council candidate Julia Miranda has been threatened with one to seven years in state prison by the New Hampshire Attorney General. In a “Cease and Desist Order” sent to Miranda today, the Attorney General alleges that Ms. Miranda’s offer to give away her $500 city council paychecks to randomly chosen Ward 4 voters amounts to “a direct or indirect bribe”. (Keene, NH) Residents of this picture-perfect New England city best known for the annual Pumpkin Festival may lose their local community access channel, Cheshire TV, if mogul Time Warner Cable does not honor and amend its franchise agreement with the City of Keene.
Most pressing is that Cheshire TV will run out of money in about 30 days. (more…)

Every blogger at FreeKeene.com is clearly identifiable and they’ve all written their own biographies. Our bloggers are your neighbors, friends, coworkers, and maybe even your family. The blogger at the hit piece is anonymous.
