Gov. Maggie Hassan has vowed to veto legislation legalizing marijuana if it reaches her desk, but she admitted this week to first-hand knowledge of the substance.
During an interview on WMUR-TV’s Sunday morning “Close-Up” program, the governor was asked by host Josh McElveen whether she had ever tried marijuana.
“I was in college. I tried it,” she said. “But things have changed. The drug is much more potent now.” (more…)

While I generally try to refrain from resorting to name calling, I did refer to this individual as a “fucking loser” towards the end of the interaction, which given the circumstances was certainly justified but still not entirely appropriate or intelligent of me.
In some positive news, this interaction occurred due to the fact that I’m Robin Hooding again, and will be nearly every day of the week for the foreseeable future!

An anonymous video editor who wishes to be known as ‘Duck Truther’ has submitted an edited rendition of the recently released 911 calls related to the Duckgate scandal. In the calls, we hear a representative of the Nashua Crown Plaza hotel call the police because an allegedly drunk man has killed several ducks. We also hear a call from one of three Nashua police commissioners, a friend of the allegedly drunk man, who provided cover for him while police were seeking him out. After coming under criticism and review, Nashua’s board voted not to kick out Thomas Pappas.
