The Federal AEDPA of 1996: A “Bill-of-Attainder” Quietly Directed at Mumia Abu-Jamal?

I’ve recently been spending time reviewing the “prosecution” of Mumia Abu-Jamal.

While reviewing the facts of the case I noticed something interesting: the primary sponsor and six of the eight members of the United States Senate who co-sponsored the Anti-Terrorism and “Effective” Death Penalty Act of 1996 bill have what appear to be ties to the Klu Klux Klan:

Sen Dole, Robert J. [KS] (Primary sponsor)
Sen Gramm, Phil [TX]
Sen Hatch, Orrin G. [UT]
Sen Kyl, Jon [AZ]
Sen Nickles, Don [OK]
Sen Simpson, Alan K. [WY]
Sen Thurmond, Strom [SC]

Examine for a moment a portion of the timeline of Mr. Abu-Jamal’s “prosecution”:

PNN Reports on the Robin Hood Civil Suit

robinhood_wantedOn Thursday, six individuals associated with activities related to Robin Hood of Keene were delivered a stack of legal documents from Cheshire sheriff’s deputies. While responses are being crafted, independent media begins to disseminate information regarding this escalation by the royal forces against the merry men. Derrick J reports through his daily newscast Peace News Now with excerpts from the case file.

Just as police attempted following the Chalking 8 case, by attributing negative actions not to any individual but to an amorphous group, the police and city bureaucrats shirk the task of properly placing responsibility for whatever allegation they are attempting to advance.

In other Keene happenings, the newest variety program from the Aqua Keene Parking Force premieres in under 24 hours. AKPF #1 will broadcast at Free Concord and Free Keene at midnight on the morning of May 13, and at 7:00pm on Cheshire TV.

What Is ‘Joint Terrorism’ the FBI Investigates?

2013_04_20_freerichFBI Bomb Technician Phil Christiana spent the day following the attack at the Boston Marathon at the trial of Rich Paul in Keene. He gave the least consistent testimony of any of the state’s actors, and even altered specific facts as his cross examination evolved. At first, it is alleged that the investigation into Rich had nothing to do with the Joint Terrorism Task Force that Christiana is employed by. It ends with Christiana admitting that he wanted Rich to cooperate with a JTTF investigation in exchange for the dismissal of charges against him.

$300,000 in Man’s Personal Property Stolen By “Town of Winchester”

While out in front of the “town hall” with Kelly Ayotte in Fitzwilliam, NH I encountered Gary Chase, a property owner in the geographic area commonly known as Winchester. The people calling themselves the “Town of Winchester” stole over $300,000 worth of industrial equipment from his shop because he was not willing to sell his property to the town to turn it into a parking lot. This is his telling of the awful aggression against him. We then take a trip to Winchester to see the property.

Cannabis Arrests and Convictions by NH Law Enforcement… 100% Unconstitutional

Many moons ago I posted on the Free Keene Forum that police officers in New Hampshire who arrest the sick using marijuana were do so illegally.

After much reflection on the issue, today I am forced to stand by my previous position. Today I find the need to stand further up than I did just a few years ago.

Police officers in New Hampshire have no right to arrest people under state law, anybody, for possession of cannabis. Read Part I, Article 10 for yourself:

[Art.] 10. [Right of Revolution.]

Government being instituted for the common benefit, protection, and security, of the whole community, and not for the private interest or emolument of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, whenever the ends of government are perverted, and public liberty manifestly endangered, and all other means of redress are ineffectual, the people may, and of right ought to reform the old, or establish a new government. The doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.

June 2, 1784

The federal Drug Enforcement Administration ruled back in the 1980s that Cannabis is safe.  Politicians have consistently hid this information from you.  They rely on you either not knowing the law or not being able to afford to defend yourself.

Guess what?  Now you know! (more…)

Kelly Ayotte “Town Hall” Meeting

Kelly Ayotte held a “town hall meeting” in Fitzwilliam, NH on May 2. I attended, and rode with a few others from Keene. The crowd was larger than I expected, and included several dozen members of the media.
The event began with Senator Ayotte giving a brief powerpoint presentation on some of her key talking points, and then moved to the audience Q&A. (more…)
