On January 9, 2011, Kelly Voluntaryist chalked the side of the Manchester Courthouse with the words “Free Ademo” and a peace sign. This past Thursday, she defended herself against Agents of the State who seek to extract money from her for actions which hurt no one. It was decided that Kelly and the persecutor would have 10 days to write to the judge their most convincing cases, and his final decision would be made that way. Here is the video of the trial.
GRAYLNG — The fatal shooting of William Reddie, 32, by a Crawford County Sheriff’s Department deputy during the “emergency removal” of his 2-year-old son from an apartment they shared has many of his friends crying foul.
A Michigan State Police probe has concluded the shooting was justified because Reddie had a pocketknife and lunged at police.
“I can’t believe they (police) could not subdue Will without killing him, and over what, marijuana,” said Joanne Michal, who knew Reddie for half of his life. “Why didn’t police just arrest him or cite him for marijuana instead of removing his child?”
Marijuana itself is scientifically far safer than its prohibition ever will be.
During a recent city council meeting, the mayor of Keene, New Hampshire leaned over to a council member and whispered excitedly: “We’re going to have our own tank.”
Yes, the tank (or, more specifically, the “armored personnel vehicle”) is the latest must-have toy for mayors and police departments. Even in this picture-perfect and tranquil New England town of about 23,000 residents, officials hurl common sense to the wind at the very thought of having such a cool ride parked in front of town hall. Maybe they’ll even get to drive it in the next Fourth of July parade. Never mind that Keene has no crime that would warrant rolling out a tank. (more…)
KEENE, N.H. — Several fights broke out at the Railroad Tavern on Railroad Street in Keene Friday night when officials with the state liquor enforcement arrived.Police said the liquor enforcement officials were doing a routine inspection when they discovered a 19-year-old man being served alcohol. When they tried to arrest the teen, Xavier Carter, he fought back and a fight ensued. At the same time, another, unrelated, fight broke outside and several other fights inside the bar erupted. When officers arrived, there were between 30 and 40 people fighting, but they quickly dispersed. Carter was charged with disorderly conduct for fighting with the liquor enforcement officials. Anthony Berardi, 29, was also charged with disorderly conduct. Police said he was actively hitting someone when they arrived. No one was seriously hurt in the brawl. It was not immediately known what, if any, action would be taken against the business.
So, basically, some adults were out peacefully enjoying adult recreation and adult beverages, not harming anybody; when criminal gang members who claim to represent the state of New Hampshire came into this privately owned establishment and caused a huge fight to break out.
Hero and first-responder, “Number 1” pulls me over to save me from my dangerous car, which has not been subjected to the “inspection” process by state agents in HIS “state.” For not responding to this quickly enough, I have been informed that even though I have a valid PA license, if I drive my car in “the State of New Hampshire,” I will be kidnapped and have my car stolen by agents of the state. Why? Because they’re not sure if my car is “safe.” I do not appreciate this level of “concern.” Would YOU voluntarily pay for this man to spend his day extorting money out of peaceful people for “crimes” involving no victim?
