Update: Darryl W. Perry v. City of Keene, et al.

As I’ve previously reported, I filed a lawsuit against the City of Keene, Fred Parsells & Gary LaFreniere for waking me and refusing to apologize on the morning of June 14.
I received a letter from the Erik G. Moskowitz of Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, P.C. stating that Mr. Moskowitz will appear as counsel for the above named defendants.
As of this posting, I am still awaiting a court date. More information will be posted as this lawsuit moves forward.

Hi! I’m Overwhelmed. Nice to meet you.

Woo!! I finally have a working internet connection!

Well, I feel like I’ve been living in the dark ages. Thank you, faithful subscribers of my blog, for holding in there. Tonight is THE NIGHT of the premier of “Derrick J’s Victimless Crime Spree” documentary and I’m feeling OVERWHELMED by all that there is to do, now that I finally have a reliable internet connection (which happened TODAY for the first time since I left the Shire 2 weeks ago).

Here’s what’s going on:
I want to be updating everyone with pictures, video, etc. BUT!!!

I used to do all that stuff in the Shire–-Keene, specifically, which is the liberty media capital of the world. My mom and dad don’t get what I’m doing at all and they’re like, “It’s great to see you! Now go do these chores.” And I’m like, “GUYS! I have a million and one things to do! People are counting on me to update them on all this exciting stuff that’s going on and–” nope….so I’ve been getting sunburn, bug bites, and developing blisters on my hands and feet as I attempt to reassemble my life after jail.

Derrick J’s Victimless Crime Spree: Premiere Tonight

At midnight tonight, the feature length documentary Derrick J’s Victimless Crime Spree premieres on Free Keene’s youtube channel. Derrick J is an activist who moved  to New Hampshire for the Free State Project. He wasted no time here, quickly getting involved with projects around the state, and choosing to live free despite the tyranny around him. His boldness caught up with him, as he began racking up charges in Keene for all sorts of civilly disobedient behavior. Derrick J’s Victimless Crime Spree tells the story of Derrick’s time here in the Shire, leading up to his sixty day jail stint and eventual exile tour. With a two year suspended jail sentence hanging over his head, it is safer to spend the next twenty four months outside of NH. Embedded below is video that I recorded with Derrick on July 20, his final day in Keene before departing the Shire. You can see different trailers for the film here and here, or check out the official site at victimlesscrimespree.com.

Chalkings Outside of Valley Street for Ademo

From freeconcord.org:

In a post yesterday, Ademo Freeman’s current situation was reported as he awaits trial on felony wiretapping charges. Sitting in Valley Street jail on ‘resisting’ charges for going limp during a chalking arrest, his final pretrial hearing was cancelled and rescheduled two days later. Yesterday’s post has the video of the hearing, just released today is this video of the chalking that went on outside of the jail on July 25 immediately after the hearing was cancelled on Wednesday.

Ademo was able to see the chalkings left on the sidewalk of Valley Street from his cell window, but as a consequence of the peaceful gathering outside, the cell block in view of the sidewalk was locked down and Ademo was relocated to another area of the jail.
