Defense Filed Documents in State v. Jason Talley

Motion To Reconsider The Denial Defendant’s Motion To Refrain From Authorizing Physical Force To Demand Respect .PDF

Motion To Stay Proceedings and Produce Record .PDF … for a pending appeal directly to the New Hampshire Supreme Court

UPDATE: I accidentally posted an earlier draft of the second above motion. It is now updated to reflect the actual motion filed with the court, not just my early draft. The last sentence from #6 was also stricken from the motion just prior to filing.

Apologies 🙁

Chalkupy Success

This Friday a group of 25-30 activists (including 6 children) gathered across the street from the Richmond Police Department armed with several boxes on non-toxic chalk.  We were there to protest the $325 ticket issued to a mother, along with a ban from all city parks, for her child’s use of chalk on some rocks at Belle Isle.  After hearing this story on the news, I started a Facebook event to “chalk the police” in Richmond, VA.  The response was amazing, and we were able to gather a wonderful group of peaceful activists, along with every major news network in Richmond!  The event was a huge success, with no arrests, no tickets, and lots of pretty pictures.

Here is video from the event:

Call Reps about HB 591 – Ensuring Equal Parenting

The courts have been royally screwing parents who don’t deserve it. Local abused-by-the-courts parents have decided HB 591 can help. They report this bill is critical to ensure equal parenting time for divorcing/ seperating parents absent abuse or neglect. Anyone who has experianced the current injustices of family court or others who see the need for change in current policy should be in Concord early Wednesday a.m. to show their support with signs, banners, speaking to Reps, etc.

Whether or not you can make it Wednesday, do consider calling local reps and encourage them to vote yes for HB 591 on Wednesday.
