Last week I applied for a concealed carry license because winter clothes make it nearly impossible to open carry and driving with a loaded gun is a crime in NH. New Hampshire is a shall-issue state, which means that if a person qualifies, he must be given a license. (more…)
On Tuesday, December 13th, 2011, a number of individuals visited Monadnock High School in Swanzey, NH (just south of Keene) to do some outreach. While the students were receptive, it was a different story entirely for the just-following-the-rules public officials.
This is video from Brad & Tommy’s demonstration on Plymouth State University campus. As you can see here, the teacher who organized the event and made the signs, Robin DeRosa, silenced the protesters.
The following is a letter penned by New Hampshire State Representative JR Hoell addressed to the House Judiciary Committee. The letter is in response to the way Tommy Mozingo and I were treated as we attempted to point out that the University System of New Hampshire was violating the law by maintaining regulations which forbid the peaceful carrying of firearms and knives.
I’ve spoken to several elected officials and Rep. Hoell isn’t the only one who feels this way. Elected state officials will be present at our hearing today in the Grafton County Superior Court at 2:30PM to see how Judge Vaughn respects the state constitution as well as legislative authority.
