A young man was stabbed to death last night in Keene. According to a local who was an acquaintance of the victim, the Keene Sentinel is not accurate in its reporting of this case. They are claiming the victim intervened in a fight and was killed for it, but that’s not what I heard today…
As soon as I saw the headline, I guessed it was drug related, but wanted to wait rather than speculate. Now it is confirmed by an anonymous source who knew the victim:
17-year-old Craig Metivier was allegedly murdered over $100 worth of cocaine.
According to an anonymous source’s allegations, 19 year old Ethan Wilson had been given $100 worth of cocaine on the front, and never returned with the cash, prompting Metivier to go looking for him. When he found him, it’s likely a fight ensued, ending with Metevier being stabbed in the heart and lungs.
UPDATE @ 5:17pm: Value of cocaine changed to $100 and more accurate story above.
Sad, isn’t it? The worst part is, Metivier would likely still be alive today if we did not have drug prohibition. Drug buyers would be able to buy their product at the drug store, and it would be available at a much lower price than in the black market. Don’t believe me? Go ask Law Enforcement Against Prohibition‘s Rick Van Wickler – he’s the superintendent of the Cheshire jail, and he knows the truth about prohibition.
End prohibition now, before more people have their lives ruined by an arrest and conviction, or worse get physically harmed or killed in a drug deal gone bad.

Ian’s “Speedy Trial” Hearing
Come and watch the people calling themselves “the state” claim that making someone wait for a year for a trial is “speedy”.

Hearing about Media Ban at Superior Court
David Vandenberg is asking liberty-lovers to witness his hearing regarding the media ban in Keene superior court.

Also, the very boring pre-trial hearing for me is on 7/26 at 11am, the same day as the 2pm “speedy trial” hearing.
The jury selection for my trial for standing in front of a police car is 8/1 at 9a, and the trial will likely be 8/2 at 9a.
This is regarding the trial for when I stood in front of a police car last year as well as the drinking game arrest.
In case you haven’t noticed, the top menu has been reworked to include dropdowns and it now links to everything Free Keene! I hope you consider it an improvement.
Plus, we now have a news at freekeene.com email address to which you can send news tips (preferably for the Keene area). The news@ address is delivered to multiple Free Keene bloggers.
How’s this for accountability? A secret office with secretaries running interference as well as an assistant who won’t return calls, and instead calls security when you drop in for a visit! Thanks to Free Concord, Here’s the video of our visit to the district court head offices in Concord.

The live streamed videos that were broadcast by Talley.TV from Greenfield, MA on July 18th and 19th have been organized into a YouTube playlist containing 25 videos. It begins on the 19th with Pete and Ademo announcing their victory in front of supporters and then switches to the morning on the 18th during the “No Victim No Crime” Rally in front of the Greenfield, MA Courthouse:
Thanks to Pete Eyre, Ademo Freeman, Ian Freeman, Kathy Breidel and others for providing live updates for the hundreds of people watching the live stream.
In addition to streaming live video updates, I posted to the CopBlock Facebook and Twitter accounts to quickly update their active police accountability network. As you may be aware, Pete Eyre and Ademo Mueller were victorious at the end of the day because they had the truth on their side (as documented by rolling video cameras) and jurors who were willing to go against the State by declaring that the two liberty activists were, indeed, “NOT GUILTY.”
The next episode of Talley.TV will feature a juror who explained why he voted against the State and in favor of Ademo & Pete in this historic court case.
Learn more about their victory over the Greenfield, MA law enforcers, prosecutors, judge, and other employees of the State at CopBlock.org. Thanks to the Civil Disobedience Evolution Fund for sponsoring the Talley.TV live stream.
Does anyone really believe that these people are their “servants”? Free Concord‘s Garret Ean shows up with a video camera to deal with a ticket at the DMV and they freak out even though he isn’t shooting anyone’s face:
