Nemi is pulled over on the way back from Concord by a statie for her outdated inspection sticker. The statie attempts what is becoming a common intimidation tactic: claiming to a cameraman he’ll be arrested if recording continues. I continue anyway and he backs down from the threat, just like happened to Ademo and Luthor & Derrick recently in other incidents.
Whats your name?
Hey! Whats your name hmmm?
Who are you, whats your name!
Aggressor? In what way was he an aggressor? You were pulled over for expired plates. You knew you had to have up to date tags, otherwise, why would you have had the license plates on? What a bunch of bullshit. Who would've guessed?
Driving with expired tags does not harm anyone, ergo it is not aggression. "Pull to the side of the road or I will physically assault you" is exactly what those blue lights are intended to say, and communicating a threat /is/ an act of aggression. It's funny how you "the law's the law" folks don't seem to want to apply that to cops. The law is that recording cops is not illegal. If I went up to a cop and threatened to arrest him for recording me, you'd be calling for my blood, because there's nothing illegal about him recording… Read more »
[…] One of the most common statements I hear about CopBlocking (monitoring the police) is, “we don’t have enough people.” If that is the case where you live, considering moving to the Shire (aka New Hampshire). Liberty minded folks are moving here daily to live better lives, one where the government isn’t always sticking its nose in thier business, and CopBlocking is a major part of that. Check out these two CopBlocking videos from local Shire residents Ian and Derrick. By Ian Freeman, via FreeKeene.com […]
According the video it was for an outdated inspection sticker not plates, so yes there could be a potential harm here if lets say, her brakes werent up to snuff or any mechanical aspect was deemed dangerous by a MECHANIC.
So yes there is a victim here, the thousands of us who get annual safety inspections on our cars.
Consistency!

"because there’s nothing illegal about him recording me." Big difference MaineShark is that cops are not taking the video encounters, editing them, and posting them on youtube as a form of entertainment. Ian seems to have trouble with this….he just can't record something without a playback in slow mo or editing in some words to fuel his inner liberty fire. FreeKeene would be the foxnews of liberty – if more than 20 people actually watched it. This woman btw, has been posting over in that little 411 Keene box quite a bit lately – getting pulled over and shitting herself… Read more »
Love it Matt! Also if she killed someone with a faulty vehicle, im sure loved ones of the victim would forgive her, in the name of liberty!

I thought you didn't even have to INFORM them if it's in a public place with no expectation of privacy…..if this is the case,as i believe it to be, why bother to let them know or confront them with the fact…Also, they have cameras on their vehicles and they don't inform people
Start suing these cops for civil rights violations. The legality of audio-recording them is crystal clear after the Glick decision. The Weare cops already have multiple lawsuits filed against them and are quickly learning this.
Make it cost them money to keep up this behavior!

@enslave: "According the video it was for an outdated inspection sticker not plates, so yes there could be a potential harm here if lets say, her brakes werent up to snuff or any mechanical aspect was deemed dangerous by a MECHANIC." Last I checked, stickers don't prevent car parts from failing. You know, it's funny… I had my mechanic inspect my truck, and he went over it thoroughly. Found a few items that wouldn't have failed it on a State inspection, but we fixed them anyway, to be proactive. Took it to an inspection station to get a sticker… they… Read more »

"Nice unrelated bit of ranting" – So says the guy that wrote an ESSAY. Blah Blah Blah MaineShark, Blah Blah Blah. That's great, you keep your car in tip top shape, congratulations. I would bet a 10 dollar bitcoin that Noemi hasn't a clue what a ball joint is or what it does. Since when is it necessary or even common knowledge to know such things – lol? Don't be so quick and desperate to shoot down EVERYTHING, it takes away from other points you make that are decent. And even if she did, it is the driver's on the… Read more »
just a fyi for everyone …generally speaking there are two ball joints on each side ones upper ones lower and if they COMPLETELY FAIL the wheel will flop upward or downward and you won't have steering….i think they connect to the "steering knuckle"
its rare that they completely fail…there are warnings first
Um, three short paragraphs are hardly an essay… And you're still avoiding the issue. Your precious cop committed a crime. What do you want done about that? Anyone in "Free Keene" committed that same crime, and you'd be calling for blood. Why not now? Oh, and driving an unsafe vehicle is already illegal, even if you have a sticker. Or if you don't. Inspection stickers are nothing but racketeering. There's an old saying that, if you see someone's turn signal blinking, the only thing that means is that the turn signal works. You really can't guarantee that the car is… Read more »
Inspection stickers do on an annual basis give some SOME assurance, the vehicle is lacking any serious deficiencies. This is a fact. 50 Dollars isnt alot for that. About a dollar a week it breaks down to.
@j'raxis said "Start suing these cops for civil rights violations. The legality of audio-recording them is crystal clear after the Glick decision. The Weare cops already have multiple lawsuits filed against them and are quickly learning this." Actually, it isn't crystal clear in the context of traffic stops. The Glik (no "c") decision specifically does not apply to traffic stops. From the opinion: "The second case appellants cite is a Third Circuit opinion finding the right to film not clearly established in the context of a traffic stop, characterized as an "inherently dangerous situation[]." Kelly v. Borough of Carlisle, 622… Read more »
Facts, ironyman? Why muck up the discussion with facts?
Was that plain enough english for you, mainedork?
MaineShark, you are operating on the assumption that human beings are all good and responsible, and that everyone keeps up with safety and we are just required to flash our headlights at a private garage once a year. Clearly, the inspection stations you apparently have knowledge of, are deficient and irresponsible. That does not take away from the fact there are garages that are sticklers (it is beneficial to them to BE sticklers) and many an unsafe car has not gotten a sticker – which lets the little police man know that said car could be unsafe….like NOEMI's. .Maybe she… Read more »
Does anyone know where I can get a tasty Gyro or Trainwreck at?
My mouth is hunkering for a Gryo!!
No, all inspection stickers show is that you paid for a sticker. Shops that do honest inspections are in the minority. Plenty of unsafe cars get stickers. Plenty of folks with perfectly-safe cars are falsely told by these racketeers that there are defects which need to be repaired… which that very same garage will be happy to do for them, at a price. With the new computer system that the State set up, it's even easier, because they can enter the "reason" why the car supposedly failed, and the next shop will see it; so the next corrupt shop knows… Read more »

Okay Maine – I agree to disagree with you. I feel differently about inspections. Now…the blood calling – I think Derrick truly believes that because he was behind a truck for miles and miles, that he didn't realize once the truck pulled off, or he passed it, that he was going a bit too fast. It happens – to everyone (except you I'm willing to wager). So….why would I be out for his blood? "Agree to disagree" only works when neither party is waving a gun in the other party's face. What are you talking about, re: Derrick? Forget which post you were replying to? Yes, we're talking about the filming bit. And no, you can't get out of it by deferring to "IronyMan," as your refusal to address the issue came before that was posted. If I threaten to arrest a cop for filming me, you'll be calling for my blood. If a cop threatens to arrest someone for filming him, you are strangely silent. Both threatened arrests would be illegal. I think this thread is pretty much exhausted, but I'll answer you. You can threaten to arrest a cop all you want, unfortunately, you can't arrest them, but something tells me you're going to get kooky and post some bullshit about admiralty law or whatever. Sorry. I already said in regard to the police that I am sick of seeing cops misinformed about filming, I think in the Derrick video. They should just shut the hell up. @maineShark stated "and then immediately go on to say that Kelly is clearly wrong, and they would not have accepted it, even if this case was identical to the case in Kelly."
I'd love to see the quote from the Glik decision that says this because I've read it at least 10 times and can't find it.
Here's the link for you – http://www.ca1.uscourts.gov/pdf.opinions/10-1764P…
Quote from the case to support that assertion.
The question is still open whether the CA1 would agree with the CA3 in Kelly. That was my point and you've shown nothing to disprove that.
@matt: Um, no, it's called "citizen's arrest." RSA627:5, IV – you can forcibly arrest someone who commits a felony in your presence. So, I could tell a cop that he's under arrest for filming me, since "wiretapping" is a felony. I'd be wrong in doing so, but not because I have no authority to arrest him; just because his recording of me doesn't actually violate the "wiretapping" statute, in the same way that a civilian's recording of him does not, either. "Ignorance of the law is no excuse" for civilians, so it's certainly no excuse for cops, whose /job/ it… Read more »
@MaineShark I knew you couldn't cite the specific wording of the court because that specific language doesn't exist regarding a disagreement with Kelly. Nothing even close to the claim you made that; "and then immediately go on to say that Kelly is clearly wrong, and they would not have accepted it, even if this case was identical to the case in Kelly." The next paragraph states: "In summary, though not unqualified, a citizen's right to film government officials, including law enforcement officers, in the discharge of their duties in a public space is a basic, vital, and well-established liberty safeguarded… Read more »
