On June 15, I posted an Open Letter to Keene City Officials Who Invaded my Home, a copy was emailed and hard copy personally delivered to the officials. In it I stated my intentions to seek out mediation.
I contacted two people who I know offer mediation services, the one individual informed me that he was recovering from surgery and unable to offer his services for another month, the other informed me that he wishes to “focus more on circumstances where two or more people want to come together and resolve conflict. I’m not sure if agents of the state are interested in that.”
While I would have liked for one of the mediators I contacted to at least attempt to make arrangements for mediation, I understand the circumstances that prevented this option from being pursued further. I believe that my contacting two mediators fulfills the self-imposed obligation to “seek out mediation.”
I will proceed with my planned civil suit against them and intend to file suit Monday morning.
