Reason’s Nick Gillespie: “Move to New Hampshire, you won’t be sorry!”

Reason LogoReason Magazine’s Nick Gillespie recently sat down with FSP president Matt Philips to discuss the Free State Project’s libertarian migration-in-progress to New Hampshire. Gillespie has seen the evidence for himself – he’s visited the Shire on more than one occasion. It’s obvious that concentrating libertarian activists together in the same geographic area leads to success.

Now thousands more are slated to come for the FSP, while others are choosing to join the decentralized Shire Society and move independently of the Free State Project. Regardless of whether you join a movement or not, if you are a libertarian or voluntarist, take Nick’s advice: “Move to New Hampshire, you won’t regret it.”

  1. It doesn’t surprise anyone he never said how people are going to get jobs or financially support themselves. These people actually believe people are going to move to NH from other states just to push the FSP.  Way too funny

  2. Jumping Jacks Haven’t you heard, Jacks? According to “Business News Daily,” single-operated entrepreneurial ventures have been on the rise. You were a budding entrepreneur at one time, weren’t you Jacks? You didn’t achieve the success you enjoy now by refusing to take risks, now did you?

    Did you say “jobs” ?

Some jobs produce value, products or services other people are willing to trade for a consensual basis.

Some jobs are paid for thru confiscatory measures and people are forced to pay for those jobs, whether they want the “service” or not.

Which kind of jobs were you referring to ?

  4. Drac Vermell Jumping Jacks There will be no economic growth. It will be a bunch of loser hippies that show up looking for freebies.

  5. WEEDA CLAUS Jumping Jacks Again, your ignorance is beyond question.

  6. Meanwhile the desperate will continue to crawl into Massachusets every day for a job that pays a living wage. Get your Koch on, serfs!

  7. I’m pretty sure that libertard’s are not moving to NH to become a Keeniac anymore in light of the FBI raid and the FSP cutting them off. If you notice the ones that have moved into diddler central (75 Leverett ) don’t stay for long. I mean who wants to live in a place that your door could be kicked in at any moment by “the men with guns”? That doesn’t sound like a place we’re people can live in a libertarian Utopia, it’s sounds more like living in a “cage” where soon Ian Bernard will be going to live.

  8. Jumping Jacks Drac Vermell No economic growth at all, Jacks? Well that seems like an unlikely scenario, don’t you think? Usually it takes a World War to create those sorts of conditions. Perhaps you’re just being facetious?
You know Jacks, I’ve been wondering for a while now why it is that someone as fortunate as you presents himself with such cynicism. Your attitude makes it very hard for me to believe that a person of your mettle could possibly be as successful as you’ve claimed to be. Now this wouldn’t be because these accounts of yours are entirely made up, are they Jacks?

  9. Jumping Jacks WEEDA CLAUS @Jumping Jacks @WEEDA CLAUS  Jacks, Jacks, Jacks, WEEDA has demonstrated higher knowledge here, not ignorance. He completely understands that capital mandated towards resources of lesser demand will always lead to a diminishment in capital towards things of greater demand. If you’d ever owned a business before you would understand this intimately.
You know, Jacks, if you’re going to criticize something you could at least acquire a basic understanding of the subject you’re attacking. Is it really so difficult for you to study some of the subjects discussed here so that when someone challenges you, at least you’ll be somewhat prepared?

I’m only responsible for what I say, not for what you do not comprehend.

Wouldn’t that be “get your “kochs” on serfs” ?

Keeping the plural, plural since 2106
