Philly Update: #OperationFeedTheHomeless

As posted in our Facebook group by Nicholas Voluntaryist:

It has just been announced that at the Philadelphia City Council meeting on March 15th, the council will be discussing the proposed legislation to mandate permits and food preparation classes to give donated food to the needy.

Coincidentally, this happens to be the day that Kelly Voluntaryist and myself at the Philadelphia Liberty Lobby have decided to feed the homeless inside City Hall during the meeting!

What perfect timing!

Spread the word! Especially to the homeless!

When: Thursday, March 15, 9:00AM
Where: Philadelphia City Hall
What: Meal sharing in front of the City Council to show them how we feel about this bill!

Please contact me to let me know if you can help in any way! We will need help promoting the event, raising the supplies, and getting a big turnout to speak in opposition to this tyrannical legislation!

Thanks!
Nick

FREE PHILLY!!!

I am very excited to announce that I have taken activism on the road in conjunction with We Won’t Fly and Occupy Philadelphia to bring the Philly Liberty Lobby to the city of brotherly love.

We will begin on Friday with a Don’t Strip Our Rights event at 5PM at the Philadelphia airport!  You can learn more and/or join the event here on Facebook.  Nicholas Voluntaryist Shankin and I will be will be engaging in scantily-clad public outreach to address the violations of natural rights committed daily by the TSA.

Then, we shall begin work on #OperationFeedTheHomeless.

Here in Philadelphia, there is a city proposal on the table that would require people to obtain a permit before feeding the hungry outdoors.  #OperationFeedTheHomeless is an effort to bring this issue to light through non-compliance while at the same time helping those in need.  We hope to feed hundreds of people in need throughout next week at a city council meeting (date TBA) as well as at various other events in Philadelphia.

Join #OperationFeedTheHomeless on Facebook.  All assistance is welcome and appreciated!

Off to the Occupy Philly GA, more later…

Peace and love,

Kelly

Keene’s Peacekeeping Trio Arrested, Part I

Fear is a cancer that must be cut from one’s life completely if they are to truly live free.  All consuming, it eats away at the soul and drives away

life-force itself, imprisoning its victims within the everlasting flames of evil in the only hell I believe in; one’s own self-created hell on earth.  Fear in any area of one’s life spreads, just like a cancer, and inevitably seeps into the rest; eventually eliminating all traces of peace and truth.  The opposite of life is death, and the opposite of love is fear.  According to the axiom of life itself we can assume that because we are here on earth, our purpose on it is to live free, to thrive, and above all, to create.  Fear robs us of purpose.  Fear is what prevents each of us from fulfilling our highest potential.  Fear, quite literally, kills. What Defines Good? (Philosophy)

What is it that defines good? According to Webster’s dictionary, it is defined as “being positive or desirable in nature “. Is good then a subjective value to be determined by each individual according to what they find desirable? If that were the case it would mean that there is no such thing as good or evil, that man’s life has no meaning, that there is no existence outside of consciousness; that the world is nothing but an accidental playground of pure, unbridled nihilism and that we are the devil’s children with empty, cackling, infinite nothingness as our total sanction and final purpose. While looking to any form of mainstream media at various interludes might depict this to be the case, rationality tells us quite differently; and although my overall faith in the human race is sometimes lacking I highly doubt that such a concept accounts for the inner beliefs of anyone but a psychopath.
