Pamela Russell SlackThanks to Casey Farrar at the Keene Sentinel, liberty activists got coverage in Sunday’s paper. The story features the spokesman for “senator” Jeanne Shaheen running cover for Pamela Russell Slack, who has been touring parts of New Hampshire working for Shaheen’s office. He’s not telling the truth, of course, and we have the video to prove it. Here’s the story, and check the first comment for my rebuttal to his misinformation:

A slew of town-hall style public forums on health care hosted by Democratic legislators across the country this summer have stirred up some heated debate.

Earlier this week, White House officials counseled Democratic senators on how to cope with orchestrated disruptions from opponents confronting them about President Barack Obama’s health reform proposals during the forums.

Recently, activists in the Granite State have used a similar approach at meetings with staff members for Sen. Jeanne Shaheen in communities including Grafton and Keene. (more…)

Politicians have been experiencing increasing resistance to out of control government policies. People showing up to express their disapproval are labeled as disruptive protesters harassing constituents. The police in both Grafton and Keene disagree with that viewpoint. What’s behind Keene City Councilor Pamela Slack ‘s refusal to answer questions on the record for the media?

Free Keene Blogger Imprisoned Six Days for Caring

David KAs journalist and videographer Sam Dodson was screaming from another room, David Krouse and other activists were ordered to leave the lobby of the allegedly public Keene district court. Krouse sat down and remained peacefully noncooperative. For this, he was arrested and charged with “disorderly conduct”. Last week he was sentenced to six days in the Cheshire jail and that sentence began this morning, as activists gathered to see him off.

Open Government Day

Tag along with Keene activists as we visit the Keene City Clerk’s office to request some documents related to my upcoming trial. Watch the city clerk defy the statues when she clearly says lawsuit records are not filed or available for my inspection. According to the statutory requirements she mentions the records, shall be kept on file and made available for inspection. Given that she admitted to violating 91-A:4 (VI), will the police issue her a ticket as they would if you violated a statute? Is the city attempting to impede my lawsuit?

See, the problem with you Free Keene folks is you don’t know your place. There is a heirarchy and you don’t respect your superiors. The knights of the kingdom have special privileges. The laws apply to you but not to us. What’s it going to take before it sinks in? How much more do we have to intimidate you before you submit and accept your place in this fiefdom?

Are you going to cause trouble? We are just trying to keep the peace. Obey blindly and there will be peace. Quit forcing us to punish you.

Now look what you made me do! You’ve left me with no choice but to put you in a cage and make an example of you before you start giving all the other serfs ideas.
