Keene area Senator Molly Kelly called me back for the very first time ever today. I originally called to ask for her opinion on the marijuana decriminalization bill that the Senate will be hearing soon. I wish I had recorded the call. Allow me to break it down for you:
I first thanked her for her return call and asked how she felt about the legislation. She gave the standard politician answer that she had not yet read it. I then summarized the bill for her (<1/4oz possession would no longer be an arrestable offense) and asked not for a response on the legislation but for her thoughts on the issue of marijuana decriminalization. She responded that she was not familiar with the legislation.
I once again clarified for her that at this point I was just curious as to how she felt about marijuana users being arrested and put into jail cells. She responded that she did not believe that actually happens! (more…)
Hence forth our great ruler shall be addressed as My Lord, My Lordship, My Highness, Divine Ruler and Sir.
A tithing of 40% of all incomes is required unless the King’s armies are in the midst of strife or conflict in this or any part of the world. In the case of such troubled times each serf will be required to part with 50% of all incomes until such time as peace has been established. The King has also authorized the inflation of the money supply by as much as 15% in said tragic times.

Virtually everything the government has is based on a foundation of theft. They tax you, with the threat of penalties if you fail, or even make a mistake. A tax is theft, if you do not have a choice in weather you pay it or not. The roads are purchased with this stolen money. If a landowner, farmer, business person, or an elderly woman who has lived on the land all her life, chooses not to sell, the government uses a process called Eminent Domain to forcibly evict a person from their own home, or land. Eminent Domain is a fancy legal form of stealing. The government then builds the road. The government, or another government unit zones all land, dividing some into business, retail, others factory, and other land into residential. This forces people to use the roads to get from point A to point B. The government then demands that you pay to license and register your vehicle, or else you are forbidden from using the vehicle on the government roads. Keep in mind that the road is already paid for by stealing your money from you in the first place.
This process will never cease until there is resistance to it. When the cost of forcing money from people becomes too high, or higher than the revenue it will bring in, the increases in taxation, and the variety of different taxes, will stop. (more…)
In a recent criminal justice subcommittee vote, “Representative” Delmar Burridge of Keene was the only member of the five person subcommittee to vote against marijuana decriminalization in the form of HB 1623.
In refusing to decriminalize marijuana, Delmar either purposefully or inadvertently has supported the continuing black-market profits of New Hampshire’s criminals and the continued arrest and ruined lives of thousands of New Hampshire’s young people.
The criminal justice committee will be voting possibly this week on HB 1623. Please contact Delmar Burridge at 603-352-5363 and dburridge@ne.rr.com and tell him how you feel about his support of marijuana prohibition.
Inquiries to Burridge from FreeKeene.com and Free Minds TV have been ignored.
If you would like to beg some politicians to act in a sane manner, here’s what you can do:
The full NH House Criminal Justice and Public Safety committee will vote an up-or-down recommendation on marijuana decriminalization as early as THIS TUESDAY.
This bill has a decent shot of passing, if there is a public outpouring in favor of it.
The number of emails from New Hampshire residents in favor of the bill will make all the difference.
(Only) if you live in New Hampshire, PLEASE take one minute of your time RIGHT NOW! (more…)
