Please take a moment and seriously consider a move to the Keene area. We could really use your help here in the epicenter of pro-liberty activism! To help in your decision, here are over 111 Reasons to Move to Keene.
This morning, Free Keene blogger AnarchoJesse was arrested for “Excavating without a permit” as he was working on creating a community garden at Keene’s Central Square park. Activists were on-scene with video cameras. Look for a more detailed Ryder Report later, but here is the initial live footage of him tilling the land prior to the police arriving and his subsequent arrest. He was booked and released with a complaint demanding he “answer” it by May 12th. It sounds like he’ll be taking this to trial and refusing to pay any fines.

You see I said, I HAD a dream, not I HAVE a dream. It’s 4:30a.m., and I’ve just awoken after having a rather vivid dream where. . . (more…)
The city councilors voted to steal some homes this week, so liberty activists turned out in record numbers as callers to WKBK’s “Talkback”, a show hosted by two councilors, Cynthia and Paula. This is the best episode so far. Activists pack the phones and when the statists get through all they have are their usual ad hominems and whining. Cynthia is clearly shaken by so many people pointing out that she and the other councilors were stealing, however steadfastly denies it by saying that it’s not stealing because it’s the law! Listen and be amazed, then mark your calendar for 9a-12p on Saturdays to join us for another listening and calling session in the Free Keene Chat and on-the-air on the Liberty Radio Network.
Regardless of what you call it, mandatory, compulsory, or something else, discussion is already underway in the Obama administration about laws to ensure compliance with national service, i.e. threats of violence to discourage anyone from disobeying orders to serve. I’ve already discussed how we’re all slaves, but this is the most overt form of slavery in recent history.
