Ross Ulbricht faces decades in prison for allegedly running the Silk Road underground online market.
Join Derrick J and dozens of liberty-loving folk for the first-ever HALLOWKEENE Costume Dance Party on November 1st from 9pm through Midnight at the Best Western Sovereign Hotel ballroom! This is a costume dance party and there will be three prizes for the top three costumes! You can indicate you’re coming via this facebook event.
More importantly, this event is a fundraiser for Ross Ulbricht. He’s been accused of running the Silk Road black market website, and he needs your help to avoid life in prison. Whether or not you attend the party, you can give to Ross’ legal campaign here.
If you don’t have your Keenevention badge with you, please have at least $10 (or BTC) to donate to Ross at the door of HALLOWKEENE to get entry to the party. See you on Saturday, 11/1 from 9p-Mid. Boo!

Shire Sharing Fundraiser 2014
Shire Sharing was founded in 2011 by Free State Project early mover Amanda Bouldin. She and other activists come together to feed hundreds of families on Thanksgiving each year. First they raise thousands of dollars, then put together bags full of food that are customized to the dietary needs or the receiving family, and finally deliver them in time for Thanksgiving!
Every year, as the graphic to the right shows, Shire Sharing has delivered more meals than the previous year! Fundraising for 2014 has begun – click here to help them meet their goal of raising $8,500.
They can also use help assembling and delivering the meals – you can pitch in by joining the Shire Sharing facebook group.

On the scale of press coverage for the liberty movement in New Hampshire, “Robin Hooding” is an eleven out of ten. The ridiculous lawsuits filed in 2013 by the people calling themselves the “city of Keene” exploded into international press coverage, unlike anything we’ve ever seen.
James Cleaveland is Robin Hood of Keene and has done an amazing job with the help of his Merry Men and Women and has rescued thousands of motorists from the King’s tariff! He handily won 2013’s Keene Activist of the Year by popular vote. James is a tireless and dedicated activist who puts his money where his mouth is. I’m excited to announce that he’ll be keynoting Keenevention 2014!
At last year’s Keenevention, James led the Direct Action panel. You can watch that in full, here.
