Keene Law Enforcer walks in front of traffic to avoid question about Pumpkin Fest Snipers

In the video below, Garret Ean of Keene Peaceful Streets asks Jason Short a question about the mysterious sniper teams atop city rooftops during the Pumpkin Fest celebration earlier in the day. To avoid answering this simple question Officer Short does something both illegal and dangerous.

Despite Officer Short being covered in dark clothing (except for his face) he crossed the normally busy road as an alert Penske Box Van Driver spotted him and slowed the vehicle down. Garret hung back out of harms way to document the evasive enforcer violating the law he has sworn to uphold.

Paul Takes the Parking Ticket to Court

amish_paulWhile attending the three day long trial of Rich Paul, friend of Free Keene ‘Amish Paul’ was ticketed twice in two days. During that trial, courtroom doors were locked between breaks in which no re-entry was permitted. Having received a green flier from Robin Hood of Keene suggesting he consider challenging the ticket, Paul took the two tickets to court, and on October 17, a trial was held in his honor.

Paul was requested to arrive at 10:00am, and entering the courtroom shortly thereafter, he found one parking enforcer already awaiting the proceedings in the audience. The state’s prosecutor approached Paul and informed him that one ticket was being prosecuted today, and the other dismissed, as only one of the two parking enforcers who had issued the tickets was available for court. Delighted to have achieved one victory before the contest started, he would wait through another forty-five minutes of pretrial hearings and plea deals before the parking ticket case was called.

Pete Arrested in San Fran, Police Forget to Turn Off Recording Device…Revealing Audio Ensues

Pete, as you may be aware, is currently on the Cop Block “Police Accountability Tour”. He just got back from South Africa and is now in San Francisco, where he was recently arrested for “jaywalking” when following police who were less-than-interested in identifying themselves. The cops claim he was a “pedestrian in the street” because Pete stepped off the sidewalk into the parking lane. He was in no way blocking traffic.

Regardless, though the police shut off Pete’s camera at one point, his audio recorder continues. Despite Pete informing them they were being broadcast live, the police make the critical mistake of overlooking the audio recorder and proceed to speak what-they-think-is-privately once Pete is no longer around them. This conversation between the police begins at 5:11 in the video. They are paranoid that Pete may be a “sovereign citizen”. They describe what they did to Pete: “We jacked him (laughs)”

My favorite part is when they dig through Pete’s stuff and find the “Don’t the the Plea Deal” flier. Officer Khuu exasperatedly says, “What is this junk? Don’t the the plea deal… oh god, an anarchist.”

There is also plenty of profanity from the potty-mouthed police, lots of “fuck him”s, plus they openly discuss charging him with something called “due process of id”.

Pete was cited and released. Not sure when the court date is.
