At around 5:20pm Dave Ridley was relased from Cheshire County Correctional Facility to a crowd of liberty activists in the midst of a cook out.  The activists numbered around 40.

Activists are currently converging on Keene Police Department to check on the status of Kurt Hoffman. He was arrested today near Roxbury for failure to produce a vehicle registration, and he broadcast his ride from there live over Porc411. During the entire trip he is heard asking the officer to adjust his handcuffs so his wrists will stop hurting. The officer ignores repeated requests for such relief.

Update 07-12-09 16:00: Kurt is in transport to the jail. So it will coincide with Dave Ridley’s release. Activist are en-route to the Cheshire County Complex

Update 07-12-09 22:55: Kurt is being held overnight in the Cheshire County Jail. He is reportedly on $2500 cash bond on a charge of disobeying a police officer. Activists will be arriving at Keene District Court tomorrow morning to gather more information.

Free Keene and the future

Launched on December 26, 2006 and based out of Keene, New Hampshire, Free Keene has become more than just a website.  Originally a blog and Youtube channel with a handful of features, Free Keene has become a haven for liberty activists.  Fast becoming a media hub, Free Keene has tendrils in radio, TV and newspaper while still seeing steady growth in the digital sector with the addition of a forum in mid 2008.  Activists like Sam Dodson, Ian Freeman and Andrew Carroll have created a beacon drawing more and more liberty lovers to the Elm city.

Smarmy Dartmouth Guy Caught Lying and Liberty Activists Call WKBK’s “Talkback” 2009-07-11

Radio TowerLiberty activists called WKBK’s “Talkback” this morning and discussed downtown skateboarders, the minimum age to work, NH independence, imprisoning peaceful people, and city camera bans. Also the smarmy Dartmouth statist calls and suggests I’m stupid, puts words in my mouth, then proceeds to appeal to tradition. I then call back to rebut and he calls again to lie to cover his tracks…busted, dude!
