As FreeKeene.com approaches its first anniversary, I would like to look back at the past year.
FreeKeene.com was launched in December of 2006 and has quickly become Keene’s #1 blog for pro-Liberty news, opinion, and activism. We are your Internet source for original liberty-oriented television content like Free Minds TV and the Keene Weekly News as well as FreeKeene.com’s own videos covering events involving Keene area activists. We also bring you audio of interviews and more. We have organized things to do like weekly social meetings as well as outreach events like Keene Freedom Fest. In addition, we ran an amazingly successful campaign for city council for less than $70.
That brings me to the point of this article. We have done a whole lot over the last year with next to no money. We have a handful of monthly contributions that total about $40 a month. Because FreeKeene.com is graciously hosted by HomelandStupidity.us, the website itself does not cost us money to operate. We are currently spending $30 a month advertising on the Ridley Report to recruit new activists to the Keene area. We would like to do more outreach and advertising, but we just can’t afford it. Whether you are already in the Keene area or somewhere outside, if you are enjoying what we’re doing here at FreeKeene.com please consider becoming a monthly contributor for as little as three dollars a month.

This morning, I appeared on WKBK’s “Talkback” with Cynthia Georgina to discuss the Free State Project. We ended up discussing a variety of other things as well over the two hours and heard from supportive callers as well as some very angry authoritarians! Download the MP3. As you listen, you may notice that there is an occasional bit of missing audio. This is because the board operator was dumping three second blocks of speech including words like “hell” and “damn”.
