After a campaign stop in New Hampshire on Sept 19th, Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson took time to shoot an ad with the NH activists on the steps of the State House in Concord that featured Red and Blue zombies.
In the ad Johnson walks down the stairs and shouts to the zombies. “We’re not mindless zombies in this country! We’re not mindless!” he declares. The ad is now out, please spread it far and wide!

Yes, I’m in the video, as is Free Concord’s Garret Ean, and many other NH liberty activists. Disappointed by the small number of zombies?… Encourage more liberty activists (or you?) to move to NH, and we’ll have more folks available for quick activism like this. (From concept to production was 1 week with a tiny tiny budget!) Zombie ads are nothing new in the 2012 political cycle. Former NH gubernatorial candidate Jackie Cilley made national political news during her unsuccessful run at the corner office earlier this year with her “pledge zombie” ad. The ad was good, but she still lost the Democratic nomination which was captured by Maggie Hassan during the recent primary. But the concept was too good for NH activists to go of, because really, the zombies are everywhere.
It was a strange morning at the Keene Activist Center on Thursday, June 14, when Fred Parsells, Gary Lafreniere, and a slick videographer named John walked their unwelcome way into the private residence. With a warrant for a dubious inspection, and asking vague questions about tenants from years past, the uncomfortable fire captain and the ever-mcgruff housing inspector creeped their way around the house. Looking for smoke detectors, they awoke the sleeping Darryl, who was ignored thereafter when he requested an explanation and apology for why he was woken up. Darryl works a late shift and has a long commute, so his sleep cycle began earlier that morning, and he had to go to work later that day. He has since filed suit against the bureaucratic interrupters of his rest.

On Tuesday, May 22, 2012, I attended an Obama 2012 rally at Keene State College where vice president Joe Biden was scheduled to speak. I arrived at the event about two hours before Biden was expected to arrive and the college campus was crawling with secret service agents, campus security, event coordinators, and of course, the KPD. There were metal detectors in the entrance to the student center where the event was being held and everyone, students included, had to be wanded down on their way in. The elite must be protected. Typical.
