School Resource Officer Who Tackled Student Also Killed Man in 2010

Over the last several days the video and story about Keene High’s “school resource officer” Joshua English attacking and tackling a student for allegedly vaping in the school’s bathroom, has gone viral. However, there’s more to the story than cop-attacks-teen, though this incident alone is bad enough. In case you haven’t heard about this incident, according to other students the young man who was viciously attacked by English was vaping in the bathroom and English confronted him. The student heroically refused to identify himself to the armed, intimidating, uniformed man and walked out of the bathroom. Moments later, English bursted out of the bathroom and tackled the peaceful student, subduing him with a shocking level of force.

Thankfully, another brave student pulled out their phone upon hearing a commotion from inside the bathroom and captured the entire tackling on video:

Understandably many are outraged at the officer’s use of force over a simple vaping incident, but that’s not really what caused English to fly into a violent rage. The young victim’s real crime was disobedience. The youth had the gall to act as though he were a free man, walking away from a threatening, potentially violent anti-nicotine nuisance and attempting to go about his day. English has his “authority” to worry about and can’t possibly be seen by others as someone who one could just walk away from without consequence, so he used violence to dominate the young man in front of a crowd of people.

Keene Police have been making headlines nationwide for proclaiming that English was fully within police guidelines for his use of force against the “subject” – yes, that’s actually how they refer to the rest of us non-gang members. Keene police chief Steve Russo exonerated English in a recent release, saying his agent had not violated any department guidelines or state statutes, but Russo said further that English was worried the young man was a potential trespasser, claiming to the Union Leader, “At that point, he didn’t even know he was a student”.

Perhaps English needs to have his memory tested. While it would certainly be hard to remember previously seeing one random male in a school with over one thousand students, how could English forget that he’d written the same young man a ticket for “possessing tobacco products” two weeks prior? The student’s father showed the proof of this claim to WHDH-TV in Boston.

While Keene Police are trying to make English look like a hero protecting the school from a potential intruder, the reality is much different. In KPD’s official release, they claim the Keene Police and the school district are, “committed to maintaining the safety and security of the students…which may regrettably include when necessary, the use of force to secure that safety.” There were no allegations the young victim was doing anything violent. He was allegedly vaping in the bathroom. No one was threatened by the young man. The only dangerous, violent threat in Keene High School that day was Keene Police’s Joshua English. Who is he?

Don’t expect the mainstream media to do a modicum of digging about English. Otherwise you might have already discovered English shot a man to death in Keene back in 2010. Free Keene blogger and former police officer Brad Jardis covered the story here when English was found to be within the state’s use-of-force guidelines in the shooting incident. In that case, the man who was shot by English was holding a knife to a woman’s throat, so our blogger Jardis agreed with the shooting as necessary. However, is it really the best decision to assign one of the only officers at KPD who has violently taken another human being’s life the duty of being the high school’s cop? (more…)

Nobody Endorsed for NH Governor by Manchester Morning Radio Hosts on 96.5 The Mill

Laura and Teddy, morning show hosts at WMLL-FM in Manchester, NH

Last week, New Hampshire 2020 gubernatorial candidate Nobody rocked Manchester in his first appearance on “The Teddy Show”, the morning show on 96.5 The Mill (WMLL-FM). Morning jocks Teddy McKay and Laura Remillard really had a good time talking to Nobody – the interview is excellent and you can listen here.

They talked with Nobody about his just-announced first campaign promise to pardon ALL non-violent drug, prostitution, and gambling convictions in New Hampshire’s history, his declaration as the lone challenger to incumbent republican governor Chris Sununu, his permanent ban from Twitter, and more.

Nobody also scored his first mainstream media endorsements for his gubernatorial run. Remillard told Nobody during the interview that Sununu had been in the radio station cluster the same day, but that he wouldn’t interview with The Teddy Show, because they aren’t cool enough. She then said to Nobody, “I think you can take him.”

Immediately after, when speaking of the political class, Nobody declared, “If you’re not a member of George Carlin’s ‘club’, then you’re nobody to them, because they’re the kids who run everything.” McKay then endorsed Nobody, saying, “Alright, you just got my vote for knowing and liking George Carlin”. Nobody then praised Carlin as one of his formative influences.

Moments later, when discussing ending the war on cannabis, McKay said to Nobody, “Jeez, I think I’ve found a candidate here”.

Nobody is great on the radio. Don’t miss his interview here on The Mill’s soundcloud channel. You can also hear Nobody as a regular co-host on nationally syndicated talk radio show, “Free Talk Live“. You can follow his campaign blog at ElectNobody.com.

The Fourth Annual Forkfest 2020 to Include Independence Day! Jun 29th – Jul 5th

Forkfest Logo

Unofficial Forkfest Logo

Have you been to Forkfest yet?  If you have, you already know how great it was and are likely planning to return.  If you haven’t been yet, you won’t want to miss Forkfest 2020.  Forkfest is a libertarian decentralized camping festival, with no board of directors or organizer, so there’s nothing official about it in any way, but this week, Rogers Campground‘s owner Crosby Peck has “officially” welcomed Forkfesters back for the fourth annual festival happening in 2020 from June 29th through July 5th.

Of course, those are just some arbitrary dates chosen by some Forkfest old timers, who this year decided that Forkfest 2020 would move and expand to the entire week after the Porcupine Freedom Festival. Though Porcfest has yet to officially announce their dates, we have no reason to wait. For the first time ever, Forkfest will coincide with Independence Day weekend!

Rogers Campground for decades has been known for having a well-attended Indpendence Day weekend, complete with a fireworks show.  Rumor is the fireworks professional Rogers has hired for years is retiring soon, but there’s a good chance Crosby will be hiring someone else to keep the longstanding tradition going. Whatever happens with the campground’s fireworks show, Forkfest will surely be a perfect event to happen during that timeframe. Many Forkfest attendees are big secession fans who love the idea of New Hampshire independence.

Given the point of Forkfest is that attendees create the event they want without asking permission, it should be interesting to see the variety of ways independence will be celebrated across the week, leading up to Independence Day that Saturday July 4th, which happens to also be the final night of Forkfest 2020.

Something else Forkfest attendees seemed highly interested in this year was cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, DASH, and Bitcoin Cash. All the food vendors at Forkfest this year were offering their wares for those three cryptos, at least. As a result, this year’s Forkfest felt like a libertarian crypto festival, held in the woods. At one time, Porcfest felt similarly, when people like Roger Ver, Charlie Shrem, and Erik Voorhees all attending the event during Bitcoin’s earlier years. I don’t like predictions, but think it’s safe to say the crypto aspect of the event will continue and perhaps even grow stronger at Forkfest 2020.

If you want to attend, keep in mind that the demand for camping, RV sites, and hotel rooms will likely be even higher in 2020, not just because Forkfest grew significantly on its own from 2018 to 2019, but also because in 2020 we’ll be mixing with the regular Independence Day weekend campers.  Plus, since Forkfest will be following Porcfest in 2020 and it was heavily marketed to Porcfesters this year, you can expect more people to stay on if they were already attending Porcfest. Make sure you lock-in your reservations for June 29th through July 5th as soon as possible. You can visit Rogers Campground’s website and call them at 603-788-4885.

Want an excuse to stay in the Shire even longer? The long-running Porcupine Freedom Festival aka Porcfest will be happening before Forkfest in 2020, though you do have to buy a ticket to attend Porcfest, while there is no ticket required or even available for Forkfest, as there’s no organization to support. Forkfest is New Hampshire’s decentralized libertarian camping festival.  No one is in charge, so everyone is.  Hope to see you at Forkfest 2020!

Meanwhile, you may also want to connect with other past and future Forkfest attendees. It’s easy to do that with the popular unofficial Forkfest Telegram channel and also the Forkfest forum at the Shire Forums.  Want to show the world you are planning to attend?  RSVP on the Liberty.menu event here and then share it on your favorite social media!

Twitter Permanently Bans Candidate for NH Governor, “Nobody”, for Hyperbolic Clinton Comment

Nobody's tweet that resulted in a perma-ban.

Nobody’s tweet that resulted in a perma-ban.

Despite the obvious hyperbole of his tweet, NH republican gubernatorial candidate Nobody has been permanently deplatformed from Twitter. Earlier this weekend, Nobody tweeted a reply to this comment from Twitter user @karelytle711: “It’s like Pavlov’s dogs. The moment Hillary speaks, a lot of men lose their minds. It actually crosses political ideology. #misogyny”

Nobody responded with:

@karenlytle711 @justinamash It’s not #misogyny. I hate Bill just as much as I hate Hillary. They are both warmongering criminals who should be hung, drawn, and quartered.

The same night he tweeted it, Nobody received an email from Twitter stating his account has been suspended, permanently, for “Violating our rules against abuse and harassment. You may not engage in the targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do so. This includes wishing or hoping that someone experiences physical harm.” There was no warning, no temporary ban, just a permanent account suspension, per the remainder of the email which stated, “Note that if you attempt to evade a permanent suspension by creating new accounts, we will suspend your new accounts. If you wish to appeal this suspension, please contact our support team.”

Nobody, Candidate for NH Governor in 2020

Nobody, then Rich Paul, released from jail for selling cannabis.

Nobody attempted to appeal the suspension which resulted in a quick reply – 30 seconds later – from Twitter saying, “Your account has been suspended and will not be restored because it was found to be violating the Twitter Terms of Service, specifically the Twitter Rules against participating in targeted abuse. In order to ensure that people feel safe expressing diverse opinions and beliefs on our platform, we do not tolerate abusive behavior. This includes inciting other people to engage in the targeted harassment of someone.”

When I interviewed him this afternoon about it, Nobody called his comment hyperbolic and agreed that he doesn’t actually wish violence upon anyone, however he believes many people share his frustration with politicians’ criminal behavior. He told me, “It seems that Twitter is seeking to control political debate by removing candidates and public figures with views Twitter doesn’t like, based on subjective and arbitrary criteria. It probably doesn’t help that I was speaking in defense of Tulsi Gabbard, who had just ran afoul of the queen of warmongers, Hillary Clinton.”

Luckily, Nobody’s a believer in decentralization and has an account on the libertarian Mastodon server, Liberdon. Mastodon is an open-source competitor to Twitter where anyone can run a server, meaning there are thousands of servers globally, all of whom can federate with one another according to their preferences. In addition to following Nobody’s Mastodon account, you can also join his Elect Nobody chat room on the Telegram platform. Visit ElectNobody.com for more directly from Nobody.

UPDATE 19:45pm Eastern: In light of his criticism of Hillary Clinton, Nobody wants it to be known that he is not suicidal.

Nobody Interviewed on “Cryptomania” FM Talk Show + Union Leader & Boston Globe Cover Gubernatorial Run

Dana Crypto of Cryptomania on WBOQ-FM

Dana Crypto of Cryptomania on WBOQ-FM

Cryptomania claims to be the first FM talk show in America exclusively covering cryptocurrency. It airs on WBOQ-FM north of Boston in Massachusetts. Hosted by Dana Crypto, Cryptomania saw the news that Nobody, declared candidate for governor of New Hampshire, was accepting cryptocurrency from supporters, so Cryptomania had to have him on.

Dana Crypto was well aware of Keene’s status as a global Crypto Mecca, and he asked Nobody questions about how he feels about the federal government as well as the ongoing libertarian migration to New Hampshire. The interview was very positive and fun. You can listen to the whole thing here on WBOQ-FM’s Soundcloud.

In addition, Nobody’s recent interview on rock station WAAF-FM in Massachusetts brought him even more media with NH’s top newspaper, The Union Leader writing about Nobody’s WAAF-FM interview and announcing his campaign for governor of New Hampshire.

A couple of days later, the Boston Globe ran a piece about Nobody’s campaign for governor.

Nobody is accepting cryptocurrency gifts on his website, ElectNobody.com, including Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin (BTC), DASH, and Stellar Lumens (XLM).

Nobody Interviewed on WAAF-FM & WHDH-TV + Receives International Media Coverage for Campaign

Mike Hsu, the afternoon drive host on WAAF-FM in Massachusetts had Nobody on for a nearly ten minute live interview last week. Here’s video of the whole thing in case you missed it on-air. In it, Nobody officially announces his campaign for governor of New Hampshire!

He also had an interview on WHDH-TV channel 7 in Boston:

Plus, over the last couple of weeks leading up to the Keene mayoral primary election – where Nobody received 2% of the vote – he received coverage in a variety of places, including overseas. Here’s a rundown of some of the media we spotted:

Stay tuned here to Free Keene for the latest on Nobody’s campaign for New Hampshire governor in 2020.

Nobody Declares as Candidate for NH Governor, to Primary Incumbent Republican Chris Sununu in 2020!

Nobody at WKNH

Nobody has announced his campaign for NH Governor in 2020

Citing the demands of the people, former Keene mayoral candidate Nobody has publicly declared his candidacy for governor of New Hampshire. Nobody, who legally changed his name in August will be filing to run in the 2020 republican gubernatorial primary against incumbent Chris Sununu. At this point, Nobody is the only candidate thus far to challenge Sununu in the primary.

The self-described anarchist and libertarian spoke about his run today on WAAF-FM in Massachusetts, saying he would pardon all victimless criminals as soon as he takes the office. Nobody specifically mentioned pardons for all non-violent drug, prostitution, and gambling convicts.

You can see his official announcement on his campaign website ElectNobody.com.
